Preservation
This was an amazingly disturbing mod, couldn't help but think that it could be a great non-canon ending. Getting sent on a mission just to get lost in numerous rooms with forgotten, yet forever preserved life... And becoming one yourself, eventually.
In my headcanon, Chasing Wind's territory contains similar stuff, research and all. Huge dandelions and fans in Hanging Gardens are great details to think about it. So it's just adding to the horror of "remaining" within the walls of your own beloved creator.
