Pastcast
I started listening to several podcasts a few months ago, and three of them have aligned right now so that I'm listening to episodes recorded about the election and it's almost like reliving a trauma. They are all dealing with it in their own ways. One is a history podcast, and is publicly produced. Their language was neutral but their sadness and regret comes through in the tone of their voices. Another is a medical history show that strives to be mostly apolitical, but said a lot when she said that we will support each other through this. The third is a paranormal humor podcast and they are unbelieving. Every time one of them mentions politics, they sigh, exasperated. I'm feeling the exhaustion, helplessness, bewilderment, and optimistic, but misplaced hope (that something with prevent it) all over again.
