This day in TMHFN history - 6 Nov 2014 - Rainbow Direction in the press
November 6th is an exciting day in Rainbow Direction history as we wake up to two press mentions. Earlier that year in September LGBT weekly had given us a tiny paragraph, but this time it feels like “for real” press mentions. Two full articles! Who care’s it’s just OceanUp and Fan.fr. , it’s a first for us and we are super excited about it. The French one in particular makes us happy as it shows the world as we think it should be: fans being supportive of their idol’s "coming out” of sorts. You can still go and read the original here.

LENNON Stella has been gaining more and more popularity following her rise in the charts after her duet with Liam Payne.
By Carly Beech, Exclusive 16.02, 28 Feb 2019 UPDATED 17.02, 28 Feb 2019
The brunette beauty couldn’t help but gush over the former One Direction hunk after the pair worked on their hit track together.
Polaroid rose to the top of the charts after Lennon Stella, Liam Payne and Jonas Blue collaborated for the popular track.
While it was another chart-topper for Liam, for Lennon it was one of the first tracks she’d worked on – and she was overjoyed to watch it rise so high.
Speaking to Daily Star Online, she said: "It was so awesome recording the song because I actually did it in person with Liam and Jonas, which is so rare nowadays.
"Usually you record your part on your own and it gets sent across the world to the producer to put it together, so it was really special getting to record it all together."
She added: "This was my first real big release and I hadn’t done much performing prior, especially in massive venues.
"It was definitely new territory for me and I was nervous! Liam was so cool and helpful, making sure I was 100% comfortable the entire time and feeling good."
The babe gushed over the former One Direction star, adding: "Liam is the absolute sweetest. He was so cool and guided me through everything."
"First of all, it's Liam's song. But I have to tell you, it was so fun working with him. He- you know, it's a different generation and there's a totally different energy. He's totally locked in on what he's doing and he was very focused about what kind of music he wanted to make. So working with him was an absolute joy. I have to say, Liam was a wonderful person to work with."

"Liam flew to Ireland in October to film the video in October but while fans saw him out and about he managed to keep the shoot under wraps. Initially the release was for the end of 2023 but with Liam being admitted to hospital in September the timeline has been pushed back. He's now doing great and the plan is to drop the comeback single in the first few months of 2024. After a lot of searching he's finally found his sound."

"Liam is absolutely hilarious. I didn't know how funny he was, so I'm getting to know him, and he is so cool"

Today (1st March) Liam Payne is embarking on an exciting new chapter, announcing his return with the release of his highly-anticipated single ‘Teardrops’ via Capitol Records.
The instantly anthemic ‘Teardrops’, referencing the rhythmic pop of the late 90s and early 00s, is about the first heartbreak within a relationship. Written with Jamie Scott and JC Chasez (NSYNC), Liam says of the single: “Teardrops is about the vulnerability of heartbreak and the challenge of overcoming those moments. This song marks the start of a new beginning, there’s lots more to come in 2024.”
Spending the past year in the studio, Liam has been working closely with long-time collaborator Jamie Scott, describing it as a “year long process of self-reflection”. With more music and more announcements to come, 2024 is set to be a big year for Liam Payne.
Multi-platinum-selling Liam has sold more than 23 million singles and over three million albums as a solo artist since One Direction. He released his debut solo album, ‘LP1’, in December 2019 on Capitol Records which included the smash hit singles ‘Strip That Down’, ‘Polaroid’ and ‘Familiar’. Releasing his last single ‘Sunshine’ in 2021, his music has been streamed over 5 billion times.
