I know this is probably me beating a dead horse but I still find it crazy how that entire fuss about Sebastian becoming more aggressive towards the player essentially happened because people couldn't fathom not being allowed to disrespect someone's boundaries. A fictional fish's boundaries. People really were throwing a tantrum because they couldn't freely harass a character without being shot or pushed away, aka suffering the consequences of their own actions. Imo it's really hard to believe you're a respectful person if you act like that 😭

Idk how to properly word this but hear me.

I personally dont ship sebastian with painter, but it annoys me to see the people who do ship them get harassed for it?

Its not incest since they have no actual family ties to eachother(biological,adoptive, step siblings, none of that)specially considering one is a computer and the other is a guy who was turned into a fish,i know that zerum and zeal have said they see eachother as family but like..there is NOTHING to back up that fact in game OR in the official wiki, the average player who doesnt go after stuff the devs have said about a character would NOT know about this, theres no lines about painter from sebastian, the things painter says about sebastian really dont feel like hes talking about someone he sees as his brother

And theres also the fact they've CANONICALLY only known eachother for **2 DAYS** theres no way someone can build a familial or romantic relationship in 2 days

Sorry for the rant, im just tired of seeing people get harassed and screamed at for "shipping incest" when its really not the case :P

I love Sebastian and P.a.i.nter as brothers because I can make cursed jokes about them being another brotherly relationship in fiction where the older one is a tobacco smoking, guitar playing, wife of another species having, kinda crazy guy with a very fancy outfit and a voice people go crazy over that revolted against the system with help of others, and the younger one wants to kill themself.

Not hate but a criticism i have towards the pressure devs

They keep on trying to crowd control the fandom EVEN OUTSIDE OF THE SERVER but turn a blind eye to harassment.

I could care less about the server's rules being what they are because that is a space made by the devs and they are allowed to have their boundaries surrounding it but to try and extend that to Twitter is dumb. They try to crowd control, call out people and shut down entire chats but when it comes to people getting harassed with insults,being degraded and told to kill themselves, getting death and even FUCKING RAPE THREATS over what they did with the goddamn fish,wether that is drawing him differently from how he looks ingame or drawing him with their ocs(looking at you, anon who called the selfshippers "whiny for no reason", they're getting harrassed to hell and back too stfu) the devs do nothing.

I dont expect them to go directly to the people who are doing these things and tell them to quit it i just wish they'd at least TRY to protect their fandom instead of encouraging that behaviour by being silent about it. Like cmooonnn make a fucking statement!! i know that them saying "harrassment isnt okay!" Isnt gonna automatically stop these people, because it didnt stop them when zerum was attacked, but it would show that they at least care that the fans they are oh so grateful about are being mistreated on the discord server (that whole thing a while ago about someone getting absolutely dogpiled because they asked if sebastian would like Tyler the creator while the person who harrassed them was a bigot who had been attacking multiple other people didn't get banned) and on twitter (see the threats i mentioned at the start!)

Some of these people are my friends and it breaks my heart to see them being treated like this over a roblox game. Pressure devs PLEASE do something about the big harrasment problem in your fandom.
