The goblin court is my favorite place. Its not filled with great people but its beautiful. Most of the other courts are in forests. But this one is in a cavern that leads out into the ocean. Water from the ocean runs down the stairs towards the small pond in the middle of the cavern. colored stones and mushrooms light the walls and ceilings along with fire torches. It runs like a market so there is always people and goblins of all sorts there. Its warm and full of noise. The houses there are like insect hives. Hosting multiple families and people. That’s the part full of life. Then as you head further into the cave you can see the destruction from hundreds of years ago. Collapses buildings like the hives that are more lit up and still standing. Rumble when you walk and a broken villa wall that leads into the king’s home. A memory that he hides from by never leaving. I honestly love it. I love most the places in my books but this one holds memory and depth to a past that no one has talked about but its there in the rumble and broken homes.
