My cousin currently is battling with cancer and has been for the past few months so me, my mum and my aunts are running the Pretty Muddy 5k at the end of September to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Race for Life, Pretty Muddy, Leeds 2018!!!

Here are some of the pictures a friend took of me, my mum, and her friends from work during and after we did the Race for Life, Pretty Muddy course! It was a lot of fun, raised a lot of money for a good cause, and I plan to do it again next year! Got up to my waist in mud, and lost my pink wig half way through. You can guess who is me, since I’m wearing the yellow sunglasses (it was raining in the beginning, and cloudy the rest of the day) but it made me stand out, and even got noticed by the guy presenting! It’s now Tuesday and I’m still aching in places! x

Nikki puts them under starters orders at Race for Life Pretty Muddy

Nikki Martin sounded the horn at the Race for Life Pretty Muddy yesterday the signal for more than 3,700 women and children to begin the mud-splattered event at the Royal Highland Centre.

The event was a fundraiser for Cancer Research UK, and Nikki was chosen as she was diagnosed with breast cancer after life-saving open heart surgery.
