Let the Right One In is on Netflix if you'd like to see it! But it's in Swedish (there are English subtitles) and it's a horror movie. I've read the book 4 times and seen the movie twice so it doesn't bother me, but it could really bother some people with it's themes (bullying, revenge, Eli is nonbinary but had an amateure surgery forced upon them which isn't shown too much in the film, there's quite a bit of murder and codependency as Eli is a young vampire who depend upon his carer)
