This show is just a mess. I find myself having multiple theories, because none of the writers can make up their minds as to which direction they want to take. They had one of the best storyline’s of that summer and they could have turned this show into one of the greatest mysteries in television, but Marlene just doesn’t know how to run a real show. She’s spoiled things for us, lied to us, changed great storylines at the last minute simply because we caught on to her, because our theories were right and she can’t have that. If we guess the show, she has no shock value.

So many questions will go unanswered, and I don’t care how small the question may be. If everything happens on this show for a reason, there needs to be no loose ends left come Tuesday night when the credits roll.

I want to know everything from what Bethany Young looked like, to what really happened with Aria that summer, to the mysterious body in the barrel. 

Nothing makes sense, even answered questions make zero sense. How could Lucas and Charles have been friends, but he not know that Charles was transgender? I know they emailed, but I just don’t believe this.

I don’t believe the trans storyline anyway. I think the real Charles is Wren. I always have. I think Charlotte just covered up for Wren so he could keep the game going. Family makes sacrifices for family. I think Wren will be AD and it will be revealed that Wren is Charles. I think Cece being Bethany would be a cool twist and the girl Melissa killed being the real Sarah Harvey, and Sarah we know is just a random runaway using the identity. There is just too much to chose from. I’m glad the show is ending. 

------ Submission I'm definitely with you about CeCe's story not being the truth. And I have also thought about the idea that Sara Harvey maybe wasn't the real Sara Harvey. There was a lot about her homecoming situation that didn't make sense. You're exactly right. There are too many options. It's exhausting.

Wren Kingston is Charles DiLaurentis. I’m sure you’ll want to know my theory as to why I believe this to be true, but that would make too long of a post. There are already many theories to support this, so please take the time to read just one in order to understand why I’m set on these reveals. Wren has been suspect to me from day one.

Charlotte “Cece” Drake is actually Bethany Young:Charles DiLaurentis’ lover. This would give AD motive to torture the girls. Wren (AD/Charles) is trying to avenge Cece’s (Bethany) death, and since all the liars had motive to kill her, Wren had a vendetta with each liar to find out the truth. This would avoid that cliche “woe-is-me” motive and instead be a story-line built strictly around a lover’s revenge. Furthermore, Charlotte is obviously not Charles, nor is she transgender. That was all a cover, formulated by “Wren” himself, in order to keep his real identity a secret.

Melissa Hastings is the lady in black/black widow and the answer for this is most obvious; she’s literally the only widow on the entire show, besides Pam Fields, but that’s irrelevant as black widow was around prior to Wayne’s death. Black widow is said to be end game and I’m sure that will happen, but I don’t believe AD is one person, but rather two people? Possibly. 

Wren will kill Mona for murdering Charlotte. Plain and simple.

I’ve heard theories on Ezra being killed by Wren, but it’s obvious that he’s after Mona. I think instead, Ezra gets hurt trying to save Spencer from Mary Drake, or better Melissa disguised as Mary Drake; one mask reveal.

Melissa and Wren will both be AD (a team) and they will be revealed as a couple. They’ve always been sketchy to me, so I’m going with that theory I’ve had for a while.

Part of me feels like the “Twincer” reveal will be that Bethany Young is really Spencer’s twin (Bethany Drake) and Melissa tried to kill her “that night” because she thought it was Spencer. Melissa has always been jealous of Spencer. The answer to the question, “If Bethany is alive, who is in the grave?” Easy; the real Sarah Harvey. The Sarah Harvey that we know is just a random runaway, or missing persons who got caught up in an addictive game.

Now, Bethany could also be Alison’s twin, or even Cece’s twin, which could still work for the Wren reveal, since Marlene is not so subtly implying another twin reveal. 

If Emison has twins I WILL SCREAM.

Why?

Oh, and it’s simply not logical, not unless Alison is actually pregnant with her own eggs instead of Emily’s. 

If Alison is infact pregnant with Emily’s eggs, the baby will have Emily’s and the sperm donor’s genetic makeup ONLY, not Alison’s. In order for Alison to give birth to twins, she must be pregnant with her own eggs as one or both parent must carry the twin genetic in their bloodline in order to produce twins; this would be Alison if the eggs were, unless Emily, or the sperm donor happened to also have the twin genetic in their DNA, but that would reaching, even for Marlene. Alison is pregnant with another woman’s baby, so if this were reality, the baby would have been mixed pre-insertion via pitri dish and inserted into the uterus later on. Alison cannot give birth to twins when the baby shares no DNA to her. Plain and simple.

This is so messy. 

Marlene better give us something good.

I’ve just finished telling a friend that I don’t believe Marlene for one second when she says that Aria doesn’t have some kind of personality disorder, or to not look too deep into the coincidences that surround her, yet she went out of her way to write this girl with traits and characteristics of someone with a personality disorder. She’s said numerous times that nothing is in the show by accident; everything is significant. 

If you read Aria is A theories, or Aria having a personality disorder theories, you can see how it’s quite believable that she has some underlying issues. 

Her uncle Scott had a mental illness, for one. That means it’s very likely to have been passed down to Aria. I know people over look this and think that it’s Mike who it’s been passed down to as he has anger issues, but there’s no reason why both Montgomery siblings can’t each have mental illnesses. Aria with a personality disorder, and Mike with bipolar disorder and anger issues.

Things that have not been answered:

Why was Aria in Iceland for a year? What was the reason for her family leaving, and suddenly returning to Rosewood?

Why wasn’t Aria given a flashback in the first season? Each girl had a flashback as to what they did that summer; all except for Aria. Is it’s there a reason why we aren’t to know what happened in Iceland? Maybe it’s because she wasn’t in Iceland, but rather in Radley.

Eddie Lamb recognized Aria and then suddenly he disappears.

Aria has a file, not just any file, but a file that was obtained by a psychiatrist. It was a Radley file.

All of this is important because I think the dream storyline just might be end game. I think Aria is a patient at Radley and Mona is possibly her roommate. Regardless, Aria does have an illness and it makes me so mad that the writers gave important clues only to say it all means nothing. They’ve ruined the show.

Omg - how amazing would it be if they did the previously on PLL from an outside point of view so we see A doing their bidding for some of the iconic scenes of A endings. So the audience knows. And then have the episode build up to the girls realizing it’s Ezra? Also - wasn’t there supposed to be a time jump tonight? And where is the promo for next week?!

------ I love this idea! I'm still confused about the exact time jump issue. My best understanding is there's a jump between 7x19 and 7x20... and then there's a jump in 7x20? I don't know for sure.

Favorite PLL moments to gif: The part in season 5 where Ezra and Caleb are trying to dodge arrows from "Andrew". I don't know why, but Ian Harding's expressions in those shots just kill me. :)

in the halloween train episode at the end under mona's bed you see the mask she wears in the dollhouse

Yes you see an Alison mask created by Hector Lime. There were several of them made. It is unclear where they all went. We know that Alison had one and gave one to Cece, we know the girls found one in Alison’s stuff, we know that Mona had one which she used and then kept in her RV lair. Melissa may have obtained one too when she went to Hector for answers. Apparently Charles (or the person who kidnapped Mona) had one in their possesion too.

I am guessing Mona lost her one when black veil stole all the stuff in her RV lair. 

I would also like you to read THIS POST about the different faces in the Radley bed’s in the halloween train episode. I think it open’s up the idea that Mona and someone else may have snuck out of Radley that night and maybe the other person had an Ali mask as well.
