"Beetlegeuse, Beetlegeuse, Beetlegeuse. There, you see? Nothing happened."
As if it wasn’t bad enough being a stiff, but being bored stiff on a daily basis tended to take a literal turn for the worst when you were a corpse. Or rather one very powerful poltergeist that hadn’t been able to find a decent con or a way to the living world in months (or was it years? Time was really weird in his little slice of neitherworld hell he was currently inhabiting) and the self-proclaimed Ghost-With-the-Most had been going a little more than stir crazy because of it. But, out of the blue, there was a very familiar tug on his spirit all at once. A very strong pull, in fact! Oh, it made his entire being shiver at hearing his name being called out, and without any hesitation at all! His head snapped up in attention immediately from his endless searching through recent obituaries before becoming incorporeal, disappearing entirely from the realm seconds after whomever was speaking had finished the third chant of his cursed name.
Nothing happened wasn’t far from the truth. At least for the living, smoking hot redhead Betelgeuse was now leering at from inside a mirror just out of sight. Just because he was being summoned didn’t mean he couldn’t look before he leapt into action. He wasn’t some demon, although sometimes he could sure act like one. No devils traps for him!
Eyes glowing and a Cheshire grin splitting rotting teeth once he had assessed the situation and determined, yes, he really wanted this ‘business’, Betelgeuse started to knock the temperature down in the room at a rapid pace. One) to assert his presence as being factual, to an extent. Two) to answer that age-old question of ‘is she wearing a bra under that skintight catsuit? Me-wow.’
He had noticed the Black Widow symbol on her belt and began to manifest spiders all over the room. Crawling from the nooks on the walls, from behind window blinds and lampshades, bed sheets and the rugs on the floor. Marching right toward her, descending from the ceiling. The TV turned on with static only coming on the screen, and one very deep and gravely chuckle being emitted in an echoed sort of way. The sound bounced around the room as the ghost watched her react to what was happening for a moment or two longer. Was she even remotely afraid of spiders? He had no idea, but it was still amusing to watch nonetheless. Then, once she had backed up close enough to the mirror on the only side of the room not completely infested with deadly looking spiders, Betelgeuse materialized his hands and grabbed her shoulders to pull her back against cold glass as his head poked out to speak into one of her ear’s. “C’mere, Red -how ‘bout a kiss for lettin’ me out!” He looked everything of a lecherous madman to anyone that could see him. A very obviously dead, lecherous madman with no idea whom he was messing with as he attempted to stick his unnaturally long purple tongue down her throat without a second thought.
