“I used pheromones to lure stray cats, dogs and rats to us, then I knit them together. Victoria didn’t have enough body fat to stay warm, and she was wearing out faster than I could get her nutrition.”
So, apparently there was a word of god somewhere, pre-Ward, even, that said Amy didn't actually have to run off with Vicky to heal her, which... I can see, Amy's making a lot of bad decisions right now, but I also think this point of hers makes a great deal of sense, and I'm not sure she could have done all this where she was before. And of course, WoG are something I care about on a very case by case basis.
Though even without the WoG, it's fairly logical to assume there were still other solutions. A tragedy isn't tragic if there weren't chances to prevent it's outcome.
But then, I've never claimed Amy isn't in the middle of a terrible decision spiral, just that I don't consider her a irredeemable monster defined only by them.
