Welcome to November friends! This month is Puerto Rican Heritage Month and I am so excited to announce the first year of #PRHeritageMonthTour. I am always thinking about ways I can amplify boricua literature and culture and bring awareness to Puerto's history and colonial status with the United States. Puerto Rican Heritage Month was started in the U.S. to recognize, honor and celebrate the contributions of Puerto Ricans. I hope you will follow along as we feature Boricua creators, artists and authors who will be doing IG Lives, doing informational posts about different aspects of Puerto Rican culture and featuring book recommendations that may not have been on your radar.
