i see so much appreciation for coconut oil now and my brown is GLOWING that it’s getting what it deserves for being a miracle BUT please keep in mind that it clogs pores and encourages hair growth and while that’s great for some parts of your routine other parts (e.g. makeup removal) are not gonna benefit. facial hair is all good and cool but if you don’t want any then don’t use coconut oil on your face! also depending on your hair type it can break down your strands instead of nourishing them. otherwise go forth and use the miracle oil everywhere!!

music choice advice

on whatever music player you use to listen to tunes (let’s say spotify cos that’s what i use), create good, well maintained playlists for particular moods. it sounds hard at first but most people, when they listen to a song, have imagery or situations that they associate with it. for example, you like a song that reminds you of losing someone? put it in a sad songs playlist. a song that reminds you of your crush? put it on your crush playlist. seriously, whenever these situations are gonna pop up it’s always good to have a playlist and some headphones handy because it’s a great way to relieve anxiety and comfort nerves.

a li‘l school/college tip

this honestly saved my life, i’ve been getting better grades than i thought possible by simply spreading my study habits out!! i study at least 30 minutes a day everyday, rather than 4 hrs on the night before an exam or assignment, and i set clear goals of what i want to be doing the next day every night when i finish studying so i can come back and pick up where i left off. it’s really important to just put in at least half an hour every day rather than binge right before your finals.
