What's krackin sqwaddies? It's MadDist Sqwad til they bury me! How y'all doing out there!? WELL, @Prhym8 and I have been going hard on this tour. Not every date has been a packed house, every venue wasn't paying like they're supposed to but,(and there's a big one) I've met with SO MANY heads at these events. I've seen stellar acts and heard rave reviews about my own work. A cute girl @ the Honey show said she could hear every word i spoke and that made the music more enjoyable for her. Dope. Moodie Black's hardcore bass lines and weaving distorted guitar melodies set an old speaker on fire... yea....on fire. @Prhym8 saves the say and Cause (the club name) with one sacrifice play. He had to put it out with his beer! Lmao! Driving around the Midwest I've seen beautiful landscapes, miles of windmills working tirelessly (so I don't know what the fuss is about, I definitely know we're searching new forms of energy Mitt!), scenery that resembles some of the greatest works of art ever created. I'm ecstatic! Tho tour life is hard on the mind, fatigued body and vocal chords, it allows you to see the mountain instead of the valley. What I mean is that the picture you fancy yourself in, is SO much bigger than you CAN imagine. So go out and check out the rest of your painting. I've never feared the unknown. That curious nature has led me to this juncture and I'm proud to say I was there when its all over! Take the shot! Leap ahead! Make the change! Open your eyes to the beautiful possibility that you could win. You'll look back, even on failures, and realize you had the faith, strength, and conviction to do it! Which is more than a lot of people can say on their trip down memory Lane. So be extraordinary! Trust me, all it takes is a committed resolve to do it and a dream.... What's up? Good morning to you all this blog comes from Sioux falls, South Dakota. Tonight we play Gabe's Downstairs in Iowa. And this train is moving. Its fun being in this seat, seeing the breadbasket of America, hearing the stories from Americans all over the Midwest. Its crazy and awesome out here. Big ups to Danny Boy, Rawshawn, Trey Lane, Mikey Cobra, Liz Harper, CMJ, Bomba De Luz, Yhan Luke, Dan, Nick, drunknives & Prhym8 for all being so welcoming and awesome to me on my first tour. It's pretty dope I've seen crazy sound systems like.....abuses of an eardrum collection, Mexican hairless dogs in freezing temperatures, casinos on every corner for miles, red streets, trash free gutters, strong drinks in a bar for cheap, serving 40oz in bars, cute girls drinking those 40's like champs, a girl pretending to have a seizure for attention, 6 person afterparties, great sets being performed, elaborate venues, limelighted & smiling faces everywhere we went!
