Steve puts on a big show about yawning, stretching, and then giving a cold glance at the anon before walking off. "Sorry, i'm an old man in this facility, this can wait until after i sleep." not even turning back as Steve leaves this. this is not your thing to tell him about. He does flip out his phone as he walks though, sending a quick message.

Another life: Muse swaps places with an AU version of themselves

Steve was just adjusting his mirrors before heading out to his area today. The Hinobi vans weren't fun, btu they were practical and did it's job, and he was on the clock.

and to anyone watching, it'd look like he graphically changed his attire into some slightly oily dark polo, and had leaned back as he did so as he was suddenly lounging in the drivers seat, to an extent. though, soon after, he sits up straight and alert, a bit wide-eyed before just... taking the van out of park and heading off.

that uh... was opposite of the direction he'd been assigned...

Steve had just sat down, leaning against the wall head back. Today'd been a tedious day; lots of stupid staffbot glitches, but, had to keep on it. He was just taking a moment, before he'd soon reach for his thermos and take a glug.

However, he doesn't get the opportunity. anyone watching would see Steve, but his uniform changed to bright white and blue, some company called 'Hinobi' replacing 'Fazbears', and rather than leaning back taking a breather, he was leaning forward looking at... something. And as such, seemed to immediately notice the 'change' in surroundings, and took a glance at that watch he was wearing. ok.

Stand up, stretch, and... just head for a restroom and act like you belong no big-

There's been an accident of some sort- while lucid and atleast having worn a helmet, all it took was some small bumpe of pebble, and that biker went flying are his bike did a flip.

He hasn't exactly gotten up from where he landed, though he is at least still breathing.. what a lesson in a helmet's importance, huh? he was definitely going to need a new one.

So that off feeling from earlier was right, something had gone wrong with Steve...

"Really can't get someone else for the job, boss? Ugh...ten-four." He's going to be missing out on XP...but he can't say worry was not tugging at him for some time now... Looks like his van was on way to the arcade too. Joy. Tiny tots, loud retro noises, and being terrorised by whatever new animatronic Jimmy or whatever his name was added this time.

Yeah, the biggest building with similar architecture and branding... Steve pulled into the parking lot, but. that was it. he was staring at the wrong sign, the wrong label and... it looked maintained in a way fazbears didn't. So, he turned to his phone- and great. ok. cool. no connection there either.

Better just... he can sit in the van and think. Whatever was going on was... weird. he had no context. maybe there'd be a clue in the vehicle? so he lets it idle as he looks at the contents in the back and...

oh. oh this was some neat stuff. but he can't get distracted; teh crew were going to worry!

This better not be coming from a place of pity. He eyes Steve as he walks in, gaze at first the mostly typical half lidded stare, save for the brow of interest. The instance he sees Steve's hands, however, does his brows rise. Image "Those trash mobs really made you out a dog's dinner, mate." Steve and Mitch is hopefully just the worser examples of that fight though, right? The last hour(was it an hour?) feels more like a blur to him. Shy at some point got hurt, he thinks, and Mitch's gauntlet broke…Steve eventually came to his side and then… what was it again? He was sure Steve was trying to get him back to the team, thinking Mitch couldn't have done anything more but get hurt. Surely he proved everyone wrong on that, right? Nothing will ever slow down the Mitch Williams, after all! …Save for somehow fracturing his foot, it seems. Image "Yeah, I can handle that for you." He sits up, reaching over for one of the sodas. Take off the plastic and take the plastic plunger, and pop! He pauses, keeping it pressed in until it looks like the drink has settled, then places the plunger on the bedside table, followed by holding the drink out for Steve.

There's a slight chuckle at the comment, Steve slightly heartened by the fact Mitch was still making quips. "Hey, I'm pretty sure it was at least a twist miniboss that got me! And at least my mobility didn't get nerfed." Mitch speaks in jabs, and Steve can give them back at that foot in a sling.

And that's when the bracelet disguised gauntlet blinks in the 'missed notification reminder' way again. It's obvious to see, as it happens just as he reaches to carefully grasp his bottle with all 4 available fingers. the blink preludes a small grimace.

"...I've uh. not returned any of Phil's calls yet. to be fair, at first i didn't' exactly have the means of doing so, but now I'm just at a point of... what do we even say?" take a sip of the soda.

"Ya know, we are going to have to share the glory for this one though, even if you lead the charge. You're not going to be sole hero for this mission."

Daggs: Hey Steve? Daggs: Can you come and check out Sun real quick? Daggs: He's acting kinda weird?

Sun acting weird? They'd only recently gotten Moon fixed, and it was something else... "Jaxon, I just got a ping. I'll be right back." He's dropping what he's doing completely to follow this, steps hurried, but not running. It was sun... even his security protocols were safer, but... Shit. Did they overlook something? Was this something new?!
