A girl in my college class just told me she liked my mask.

And I'm just like. “Are you...y'know?”

My mask is pretty much a pride mask. I'm talking full rainbow.

So, I just got back to my small hometown Yesterday, which is very much out in the country and rather conservative with most people knowing each other and a lot of elderly people, today I ran a few errants for my mom in the center of town and imagine my utter delight when I saw an old lady, like probably in her 80s old, walking by with her rollator and a rainbow mask.

She even smiled and nodded at me ( I was wearing a mask too and did not recognize her) and she seemed so quintessentially nice in that short moment that now I am convinced  that she wears that rainbow mask as a pride mask. And I just did not expect that at all and it made me soooo happy so hopeful that I just had to share it.
