#pride theme

has anyone else noticed that they've been changing the pride theme? i kind of thought it was a mistake because of how ugly it is, or maybe they just forgot about it because it hasn't really changed in the decade-ish i've used it. recently though they've been making a lottt of changes, like they're replacing all of the dark blue ui with yellow and they replaced the yellow text with white text?

i just don't get why they would make changes like that. it's not like they're making it more appealing because no one would be using this for its aesthetic appeal, and there's really no need to make it LESS appealing. also i don't really get why it's called pride

Tumblr should let us make our own palette theme for the site as well. Because at this point, asking for a pastel theme isn’t enough. I need access to make my webpage the soft lavender and pink palette of my dreams. Like they gave us the most eye blinding pink theme from pride.
