☀---}; Darkness. That was the last thing he could remember before he left this world. Everything else was hidden from him.

His muscles ached as he slowly lifted himself off the floor, strands of hair tangled and mussed from laying down. Coming into focus, his eyes viewed his surroundings, he was in a ball room, an old one too by the looks of things. The floor was aged with cracks and stains, dusty rugs were on the floor and withered torn flags hung on the walls.

As he began to walk, he felt a pull that was guiding him along. Since he had little voice in the matter, he went on with each step being like under a hypnosis. When he left the room and went out into the hot open air, he felt the sun beating down on him as it reflected off his golden locks of hair.

There was someone he had to find.  The Colonel.
