Axel was, for once, being a good boy. Standing in for the carers while they went for their lunch. It was Axel’s duty to inform people about the LGBTQIA+ telephone line and young people’s shelter which he had worked at over the christmas period. He also gave information on the local rehab centres. With another member of staff, Axel sat at the booth handed out leaflets and badges to spread awareness about the homeless teens in the area. However now he was getting bored. “ Save the clock tower.” He said in a jokey voice as he handed leaflets out, echoing the scene from Back to the Future. “ Lightening struck that clock and its not worked since.” He said, knowing people were too busy looking at him and taking the leaflet to actually listen to what he was saying. He turned and smiled at someone he knew. “ Tell anyone I'm being kind and I will suffocate you in the bubble machine and get a drag queen to sit on you.” He joked as he handed them a leaflet.
It is that time! And the best time to show off your true colors. The rainbow that makes us who we are. It is the end of June, and a lot of the VIP members just received their June VIP gift. Filled with tons of color and pastel beauty this month’s VIP gift theme is 2020 PRIDE. This is no surprise as this is PRIDE month. This month we obtained a new room specially decorated to fit the PRIDE excitement. I will be honest from the very beginning. I love this room not only because it is fit for the theme, but there is so much to see, explore, and do. The number of poses and fun in this room really makes this month's VIP gift worth it.
The room we received is a PRIDE parade room filled with color and rainbows galore. Outside there are PRIDE floats. I wish they moved around the building that you can access and hang out in. But beggars cannot be choosers. The poses on the float make my avatar slay the stage. Between dancing actions and just stand still poses, there are many ways to enjoy the parade aspect of this room. Also, they are great for taking PRIDE 2020 photos. I've taken quite a few just using the floats, so if you're into virtual world photography, you will love this room. It makes an excellent background for your avatar's photos if you're looking to add some color and pop to the picture.
With the color and festivities outside, it's time to move to the focal point of this room. The building in the middle reminds me of a Manhattan brick build. It has so much character! On the inside, there is a runway, DJ booth, plenty of areas to sit, relax, and enjoy the rainbow atmosphere and tons of dancing areas. Want to hold a PRIDE 2020 party before the end of the month? Then this is perfect. It makes an excellent club and runway if you are ready to strut your stuff! There's a bar in the back of the room if you need that martini or margarita kick before you go back to the party.
There is so much this room offers and so much potential. The room is such a happy go lucky vibe, and even though it is PRIDE themed, it's perfect for anyone who loves to club, dance, or just chill. Make sure if you're a VIP to check it out, just like every room you obtain from the VIP membership, you'll find it under the "rooms tab."
