let me be honest here and say that for me, almost every wrestling ship is about analyzing my blorbo through the lens of a relationship with someone else, in order to explore a new aspect of them. this is the case for charlexa, and alexa's avoidant attachment style. this is the case for bluehart and julia's need for a community/coven. this STAYS the case for ambrolleigns and seth's Everything. hell, it's even the case for hendrintyre, and joe's conflicted feelings about making it "big".

however, it is NOT the case for priestbalor. i cannot even BEGIN to analyze these two WITHOUT each other. how protective they are of the memory of each other, while refusing to confront each other face to face again. i can't talk about finn balor without talking about "purple reminds me of damian". i can't talk about damian priest without talking about everything he did to keep finn there, all for nothing. i can't talk about them individually, because they bleed into every aspect of each other. they haunt each other.
