» I have to take a detour from my usual because of the guys practicing… Mitsuru would say something if I snuck a day in and the temptation is too great. Maybe I can find some way around h note: need more self–discipline…So, I left early from school for that appointment today. Doctor says I’m good to go. I just wonder why bone fractures take so long to heal…There was a girl in the room next to mine. When we first talked it was pretty disorientating. Polydeuces isn’t usually that loud… After learning she can summon a persona too makes sense now when I think about it. But, she never looks that healthy. Pale, skinny… I wonder if she was taken in because of malnutrition? We’ll keep in touch with her. Just because she can’t fight doesn’t mean she can’t help out if she wants to.I requested an evoker from the Kirijo Group for her the other day. I know it won’t be a waste.I never thought SEES would come this far… つづく・・・
“Thoughtful, modest, and quiet.”He snorts, realizing how silly he must sound, “I’ve never heard Yamagishi talk much. She usually keeps to herself, huh?”

“N-no…! I-I won’t…let that anon win!” Fuuka softly mentioned as she felt a cold chill running down her body. Her shadow self appeared next to her and floated around her body.
“Oh please…you know you want to release me…sooooo much~”
“…! N-no! I do not want that to happen at all!” She shook her head and stood her ground.
“…you sure? I mean… I wouldn’t mind getting closer to Minato—my prince is finally back in my arms~!”
“S-stay away from him! I-I will not—! I-I have…a-all of these people fighting b-back you and I am too!”
“…fine, your lost…but one day, I will get you, clenching your heart tightly and make you suffer—I’ll get you…and you won’t be able to call for anyone!” She laughed so loud that it echoed and Fuuka’s brain and she fell to the floor out of pure exhaustion.
It was evening in Iwatodai and the fools decided to pay a visit to the last place they had seen Fuuka and surely enough, she was there and appeared to have trouble with her shadow yet again.
The boy in headphones drew forth his one-handed sword on reflex but stopped himself, remembering what had happened last time.
It was then that they saw her pass out on the ground which prompted them to immediately run to her side.
“She’s alive, no signs of any scuffle. No damage done.” Yu confirmed through checking her pulse and a quick visual rundown of her body.
“But her shadow came close to surfacing again…” Minato sensed, something within him acting up which made him wince but he shrugged it off, focusing on the here and now. “Let’s get her out of here.”
The older fool nodded and picked her unconscious form up and off the ground, taking her back to their hotel room almost as if it were routine to which the blue-haired boy commented on.
“It’s funny…after all this time, I didn’t think I’d find you again quite like this.” He mused quietly to himself.
Fuuka could barely make out voice as she closed her eyes, her chest hurting from all the pain she caused to others recently. She grabbed onto whoever’s shirt she could grabbed onto and hid her face from the world. She didn’t want to be viewed as weak, and she hated how she always had to be rescued.
“…” Fuuka stayed quiet, her body succumbing to sleep, as she felt something wet hit her face before she slept. She could only see darkness and yellow eyes surrounding her, unsure if her shadow was now taking over her dreams or not. She sniffed her nose without a second thought and let her hand go from the shirt she grabbed onto. Fuuka was exhausted and her shadow wasn’t giving her a break.
“How could this happen again…?” Yu thought out loud while brewing himself, Minato who was watching over the fallen priestess and Fuuka, on the off chance she woke up some tea.
The boy in headphones quietly observed her, feeling his heart resonate with hers and within it could see her shadow struggling for dominance over the body. He knew now that Yu’s tactic of getting the person to accept it as opposed to simply destroying it was the better option but it didn’t mean he wasn’t hostile to shadows as a whole.
“…”
He said nothing, all he could do now was wait and see what happened next however…something within him was stirring, that for only a second made his eyes flash. Whatever that something was, it was dangerous.
She opened her eyes weakly and sniffed her nose, smelling something in the air. “… hmmm?” She murmured softly and turned her head to see Yu making tea. “The same…tea…” Fuuka whispered and looked at Minato, who was looking at her. For a moment, she quickly blinked her eyes and noticed those golden eyes. “…!” She flinched and sat up quickly, gasping loudly.
“M-minato! Y-your eyes—!”
“…”
The blue-haired boy said nothing and stared in her general direction, unmoving until the priestess called out to him which snapped him out of his trance, blinking the golden color in his eyes away.
“Wh-what?” Regaining full alertness, he looked over to see Yu who had all their cups of tea out on a tray before them.
“Something about your eyes, pal?” Yu raised an eyebrow as to what she meant and set their cups down on the desk beside the bed Fuuka currently lay in.
“My eyes?” He turned to face the teal-haired girl and questioned the apparent abnormality. “What about them?”
Unbeknownst to either of the fools however, a sinister aura had been building around Minato which had periodically blinked it’s way into being seen only by Fuuka.
Fuuka blushed and looked at his eyes once more, seeing the golden eyes and then they disappeared…! Fuuka reached up to his eyes, Juno throwing something into her mind about shadows and evil aura—Fuuka was getting scared. “…golden eyes… …M-minato… …” She closed her eyes and lowered her head, drawing in her knees and hiding her face. “I-I’m scared—!” Fuuka put her hand to her chest and winced, her shadow fighting back again. “…n-no…! …w-won’t let…y-you win—!”
“Again!?” The older fool exclaimed. “Fuuka, didn’t you accept your other self? Why is this happening?” Yu questioned frantically.
Minato leaned forward and examined her with a critical eye, seeing the shadow begin to resurface but this time he wouldn’t allow it to happen. Instead of waiting for it to be denied and repeating the scenario from their last encounter, he had a different idea.
“So I see…” His eyes flashed again and he slowly reached his hand out in her direction. “
Fuuka watched those eyes of his look her up and down as she blinked a few times—her eyes turning yellow briefly as she winced, her heart being crushed by the shadow. “…Mi…nato…” Fuuka winced as she opened her eyes once more and grabbed his hand, holding it tightly. “…Y-you…” She put his hand to her cheek and kept staring at him. She was beyond terrified, acting normal with those eyes…it made her sit on the edge.
“…Do you want me…to bring her out?”
“Not necessary.” Minato said while feeling himself become influenced by his Persona. “Hold still.” He warned, placing his hand onto the top of her head and applying a gentle squeeze. Narrowing his eyes in concentration, it seemed that he found what he was looking for in the sea of Fuuka’s soul when his free hand moved down.
“I’ve got you now…you damned shadow.” The younger fool drew his Evoker forth from it’s holster and readied it.
Fuuka closed her eyes and put her hands on her chest and stayed very still, feeling his hand on her head as she gulped. “…M-minato—” Fuuka opened her eyes as she watched him picking up his evoker and unsure of what was going to happen. “M-minato! Wh-what are you going to do?!”
The priestess’ Shadow began to rage within her at sensing the blue-haired boy and his Death Persona try to take a hold of it and without it surfacing, the influenced fool was allowed to go to work freely onto it. “I am thou…and thou art me.” He held the Evoker to the side of his temple and fired.
Instead of the normal summoning, Minato’s physical form began to emanate a black haze and through the resonance between his soul and Fuuka’s, he held the Shadow’s essence in his hand and saw Juno within the teal-haired girl.
“Now…begone.” A second, significantly louder trigger pull of the Evoker was made. Unbeknownst to him, it was equivalent to casting a Fusion Spell from the hero of old, and all that was heard afterwards was a shriek that began fading away, allowing the Persona to take precedence over the hostile shadow once more.
With his hair overshadowing his golden flashing irises, the boy in headphones exhaled and allowed the flow of power to subside. Opening his eyes once more, Minato retained his normal appearance, eye color and all.
“Okay…how do you feel now?” He questioned, taking his hand off of her head.
She closed her eyes, wincing a little more, as she felt the shadow fighting her off and over and over. She squeezed her hands a little more and once she heard the second bang go off, she opened her eyes quickly—her head was lowered and out of their view. Her eyes went hallow for a moment, as if they didn’t have any…soul, emotion in them. Blinking a few times, she felt tears pricking her eyes. “…M-minato…”
Fuuka slowly lifted her head as she felt…empty. Not complete. Was eliminating the shadow…like that suppose to do that to her…? “…hallow…not real…” She whispered and blinked even more, her body turning cold. “…M-minato… …I-I feel cold… …” Fuuka put her head on his chest and squeezed his shirt a little more.
“Minato…” Yu found himself speechless and a little apprehensive of the new power that was just used in front of his eyes.
“What did you do…?”
“I made a compromise.” The blue-haired boy explained, carefully supporting the priestess in his arms.
“The shadow’s still hostile and the only way to stop it from going berserk and killing her aside from destroying the Shadow itself was to suppress it.” Minato answered, looking down at his hands, part of him unable to believe what he just did. “It may affect her abilities as a Persona user for the time being but I figure it beats having it kill her painstakingly from the inside-out.”
She opened her eyes weakly and looked at him. “Minato… …I…is Juno going to be affected badly from this?” She asked softly and put her head on his shoulder. “…I-I just… …Am I cold…because of the shadow being suppressed…? O-or…something else… ?” Fuuka asked more questions as she closed her eyes and coughed softly. “…I’m a little scared… and nervous…” Fuuka whispered and just fell asleep in his arms, really tired and exhausted from everything.
“Juno should be just fine and so will you…” Placing his hand over his chest and breathing in, the resonance he and Fuuka shared allowed him to search for the Persona in the sea of her soul and found it healing itself.
“You have more power than you know…I’d say give it a day, maybe two at most for you to be able to use it again. Everything will be back to normal soon enough.” Seeing her fall asleep, he laid her back down and smiled, gently brushing her cheek with his thumb.
“What a trooper, huh? She’s truly incredible.” Yu remarked as if looking at her in a new light. “You too pal, your powers are becoming stronger as well.”
“I guess so.” Minato shrugged, keeping his focal attention on the sleeping girl. Half to study the effects of the suppression and half because he still found her cute.
She nodded and just fell against her pillow quietly, her body weak and tired from the shadow self wanting to be released. She sniffed her nose and put her hand to her chest and breathed in and out slowly, her mind clear as it can be.
“…mmm… …Minato…” She whispered quietly and turned in her sleep, grabbing the closest pillow to her and pretending it was Minato, hugging it tightly of course. “…so soft…” Fuuka talked in her sleep and had a true, happy smile on her face. Dreaming about Minato comforting her can do that.
“I think she’s dreaming about you, pal.” Yu said, patting his fellow fool on the back.
“You didn’t implant any weird fantasies in her head did you?” He joked with a light chuckle.
The boy in headphones found himself snickering alongside his friend and shook his head with a smile. “No, no. I don’t have such abilities…but I imagine she might.”
“…s-so cold…” Fuuka kept sleep talking in her sleep, something she only does when she’s tired. “Please…keep me warm…” She smiled once more and felt her body go lax and her body slowly falling into a deep sleep. In her tiny dream, she dreamt how Minato was keeping her safe and sound, and also warm. A yawn escaped her lips as she moved into a fetal position and held onto the pillow a little more.
“Truly adorable…” Minato commented while looking over his friend, watching her sleep soundly and gently brushing her cheek with his thumb while doing so as Yu looked on in respective silence.
“I’m here for you, always…I promise.” The boy in headphones vowed quietly. And he meant it, he had always been going to extremist measures to ensure her safety…why stop now?
She smiled softly, as if she was hearing everything he said to her, but wasn’t. The dream she was having was lovely—it gave her hope for the future and for the now. Feeling warm, safe, and protected, it was all she needed. She moaned a little but really was falling into a deep sleep—ready to just get her beauty rest.
“Come on pal.” Yu spoke softly so as to not wake up their sleeping friend.
“We need to let her have her privacy now don’t we?”
“Right…” Minato nodded and stood up, following the taller fool out into the other room, leaving Fuuka to her slumber turning back to look at her one more time with a smile.
“Have pleasant dreams…”
She barely could hear anything as she was in a deep sleep, her shadow being quiet and such for now. Fuuka…was hopefully in peace for now. Sniffing her nose, she sneezed and went back to sleep again, as if nothing had disturbed her in the first place. “night… nighty…”
Smiling in her sleep, she didn’t even know what was going to come later on down the road.

“I am thou…Thou art me…”
“The Priestess Social Link has reached Level 5! Your powers to create Personas of the Priestess Arcana has grown!”
Took me about an hour to track down all the canon material that made up Shadow Yura's investigation but it's finally archived under the tab.
I also added dates to give The Dual Fools' story more of a real-time feel to it similar to how P3 X P4 incorporated real world calendars all the way up to the end of P4A which concluded during Golden Week of 2012.
While Yu and Fuuka merely share a big brother/little sister relationship, Minato harbors a very complex pseudo-romantic attachment to her.
She was the first to help him awaken to his abilities and tune him with his past self to which he is eternally grateful.
Above all, he places her happiness as his top priority when they’re together and will do anything in his power to help her grow into a stronger person.
(Note: This applies to Fuuka Yamagishi played by priestessofjuno)
