45. Wearing any bracelets?

While they’re not bracelets, I always keep a couple of hair ties on my left arm! I mean, no I don’t need five especially since my hair isn’t even that long, but they really fit my aesthetic.

“I used to have this bead bracelet that I wore all the time as a kid. It had blue beads all around, save for three. One bead was black and the two around it were white. I lost it one day, and by the time I noticed, it was too late. I just never found it again.”

28. Last thing that made you cry?

I’m just going to update this one for myself since I have cried since yesterday. I cried because I saw a really good doggo who was really good and I just couldn’t stop myself.

just the girls ; whitney&misty

Arceus, it really is a nice day.

Well, it’s a good day in general — the sky was bright and blue, the trees swaying gently back and forth. But it’s a great time to meet her fellow Gym Leader, Whitney. There are no appointments for a Gym Battle today, and her Trainers are off for the day. It’s a jackpot in waiting!

It’s also quite convenient to do this right in Cerulean City, in her little ‘ol hometown. Misty always loved going to the nearby cafés and restaurants, and she happened to be meeting Whitney at the one closest to the Gym.

She doesn’t know the Leader super well, like Morty, but it isn’t a surprise. Whitney was a Johto leader, as well as a Trainer of a completely different Type. Misty can appreciate that Whitney uses Normal Types, of all things. She hears Whitney’s Miltank is an absolute beast.

Even so, it’s a girls meeting. Misty is pretty excited to talk to someone else around her age, even if it’s a Gym Leader she doesn’t know super well, but she’s certain this is going to be worth her time. And the café she chose was pretty good, if she had to say so herself.

Funnily enough, this café she’s going to is her favorite. She’s a bit biased. The Three Sirens, a hidden little niche on the side of the road leading up to the Gym, has excellent catering and even better food. Misty eyes the steadily approaching sign with a grin as she grows closer to the café, hands tucked lazily in her pockets.

She stops in front of the glass door to admire the growing greenery at the front, the gardenias and petunias and other plants she can’t name hanging from little planters, and does her usual tradition of tapping the swirling letters on the rapidly fading sign as she enters. Ah, life is good.

The golden bell on the side tingles gently as she opens the door, and the waitress at the counter waves. With a small salute, Misty addresses her back, but no one else seems to address her presence at the moment.

She turns in a semicircle to look for Whitney — from what she can see, there’s a dash of pink hair in the very corner, facing away from her. Ah, even better. It gives Misty a chance to jump scare her.

Walking over to Whitney and admiring her classy outfit from the back (hey, don’t call Misty a weirdo), she stops quietly at the back of the Gym Leader’s chair with a cheeky little smirk.

“Boo,” Misty declares, loud and bold and directly in Whitney’s ear. She feels a twinge of guilt, but oh well, Whitney’s going to have to deal with that. “It’s me! Your favorite Kanto Gym Leader.”
