Thank you!
THANK YOU for all the remedies/advice/get well messages on my food poisoning. Ended up having to stay in the E.R. until a few hours ago. Needed an I.V. because my body was beyond dehydrated and had some tests ran. Sucked but I'm healthy as a horse. I just need to let this pass. Thank you again <3
Can't seem to get this Paleo Zone business down.
I think I'm just making this way more complicated then it needs to be.
Back to myfitnesspal and just simply staying under 100carbs.
Got tagged in this and thought it might be fun!

1) What is your ultimate goal (non-fitness related)
To have a cozy, inviting home, to have a career that challenges me intellectually and feels meaningful, to have strong relationships with my loved ones, to travel far and wide- for the rest of my days. What this looks like is always evolving and that's an exciting process.
2) What about your fitness goal?
I have a lot of fitness goals: I want to run a mile in 8 minutes or less, I want to run a half-marathon by this time 2014, eventually maybe even a full marathon! I want to do a muscle-up and strict pull-ups, I want to bench press at least 80#. Aesthetically, I want to lower my body fat % by about 4-5% so that I see more muscle definition. By bodybuilding.com's estimates this is do-able in a few months time so I'm not really aggressively trying to do that- I'm just focusing on eating good food and pushing myself physically and trying to remember that it'll happen on its own if I do that.
3) Do you have someone in your life who supports and/or someone who sabotages (intentionally or not) your healthy goals?
I have a lot of friends who know me in real life who have read my blog and given me a lot of positive feedback about what I'm doing and the content I'm producing. It's great to hear that other people get something out of this process that has been so useful for me, and it helps me to know that people read what I write. I don't really have people that sabotage me but I would enjoy having more friends where I'm living who have the same goals so we can nerd out about it. I'm really passionate about nutrition and exercise and it would be nice to have more friends who share that interest.
4) What made you decide to start living a healthier life?
One day I noticed that I had low energy and didn't really like how I looked in the mirror. I've never been truly overweight but at some point in December 2012 I realized that if I wanted to be in the kind of shape I wanted to be in, I had to get a lot more proactive about it and start paying attention to what I ate, first and foremost. That's about the same time that I found paleo. Looking at pictures of myself from a year ago is a little surprising to me now.
5) How did you discover the Fitblr Community?
I don't really remember, I think I was just looking for some paleo resources on tumblr and found a few paleo fitblrs. I also follow anyone who's witty, body-positive and posts a lot of original content.
6) Who are some of your favorite fellow Fitblrs?
@weightz @beccasfitlife @hoorayforbutts are some of my favorite ladies to follow. They all lift heavy things and have great senses of humor.
7) What is something you wish was healthy but totally isn’t?
Pizza, love of my life.
8) Where do you live currently?
Amsterdam.
9) Where would be your dream place to live?
That's a hard question to answer! I've loved so many of the cities I've lived in. My ideal place to live would be a large city that's very close to hiking/camping/wilderness. I guess Oslo is like that? I really loved the Balkans when I spent a month in Croatia, Bosnia and Slovenia and thought that if I ever had excess money I'd like to have a small seasonal place there.
10) What is your fastest mile ran?
Haven't checked my single mile time in awhile but in the last couple months my fastest was 8:59 which was a huge deal for me!
11) What type of workouts do you do on a regular basis?
I run and lift heavy weights, pretty basic but they're the most effective exercises for their respective purposes- cardio health and strength gains. Lifting barbells makes me feel really tough and strong which I think all women should try! I've enjoyed doing yoga before for relaxation but for my physique and fitness goals it's not really my thing. Exercise for your goals and do what makes you happy!

My pinky curves on both hands.
I hate the smell/taste or raw onion. DISGUSTING. Needs to be cooked.
I love animals SO much. Especially my dogs <3
I’m the MOST indecisive person in the world. I hate it. It drives me crazy that I go back and fourth with simple decisions.
I married the boy who I met at just 14 years old. I had no idea we’d be together in a relationship, let alone married. But I’m so glad we did <3
I get easily distracted.
I love smelling my hair.
I never used to show any emotion as in crying, sadness, etc when I was younger. Not during a sad part of a movie or even at my cousin’s funeral. For some reason I saw it as being weak. Now, I cry for everything good or bad. BIG BABY.
The feeling of having to throw up ABSOLUTELY disgusts me.
I love moving. I moved so much when I was little that now, I can’t stand being in a place for too long. Which is bad. I need to establish roots for my husband and I.
Browned chicken tenders.
To those who asked me my seasonings. I just threw a tablespoon of KG butter in my skillet, washed my tenders and threw them in the pan. As they started to sizzle, I sprinkled A LOT of garlic powder, a dash of cumin, lots of rainbow pepper, and some Mrs Dash original blend (MSG & salt free). Also when they were done, I sprinkled a small bit of himalayan salt :)
I'm so tired & I didn't even drink my cocoon yet.
So don't wanna participate in my online class work. SLEEP I SAY.
