This is a right #parathyroid nodule in a 9 yr FS Shih Tzu with #primaryhyperparathyroidism. She was drinking and urinating excessively so her primary care doctor evaluated her. Preliminary blood tests identified elevated calcium (called hypercalcemia), and she was referred to me for further investigation. Subsequent testing confirmed my clinical suspicion for #primaryhyperparathyroidism.
