Konrad pushed matted strands of black hair out of his white face and looked at the Chaplain with a critical eye. “I am here now,” he said, his tone carefully neutral, not giving anything away. “Was there anything you were looking for particularly, or are you speaking metaphorically?” He had not seen Helbane for a long time now, though there was nothing overly unusual about that. Helbane was a Chaplain, and his role within the legion was different to most. He had to deal with the Astartes and keeping them on the right path, a task that Konrad did not envy.

Although he was loathe to admit it, he was glad to see him alive, it not completely well.

Send ⭐️ (or multiple) for a headcanon about our muses.

Skarbrand is perfectly fine given Rulek leave to cross through his lands, provided he tribute skulls of course. However, if Rulek happens to be in his War Shape, he'll find a disagreeable reaper. Skarbrand will demand steeper tolls and will only allow Rulek to cross using the absolute margins of his territory.

That or a fight.

Conversely, if Rulek is in his Sense-shape, Skarbrand will avoid him. He's already got one purple, perfumed fiend to deal with and isn't over interested in entertaining another for too long.
