He said the words that broke her.
“Don’t say that! Don’t say that! Don’t fucking say that!” she screamed, her voice causing a gust of wind to kick up inside and knock things over. His ears were probably ringing.
Just then Sonata ran in and pried Shining away from Aria.
“That’s enough--” Sonata stood in front of him, shielding him.
