Girls don't want boys, girls want comprehensive sex education and equality for all genders.
tbh reading the characters and is the only way to fully understand things, because you can have "ma" and have it be 吗嘛马妈骂码, etc, and its like "OH I KNOW WHAT THAT IS BY SOUND-- what the fucking fuck is that."
=v=;;; yeah, Nate's showed me the stories composed of single sounds intoned a dozen different ways.. I've got no idea how people can have conversations with similar sounding words without giggling.FUNNY STORY THO. There's a specialist at the clinic named Ma. And Nate's the only one who pronounces it correctly and it always throws the guy for a loop to hear his name said right because since he and his family went to the states when he was a kid it's always been said monotone and he laughs, but it makes everyone around him flinch when he laughs because he's 6'7.
nah its fine, intonation practically disappears during singing, the only reason i know its mandarin is because im in my second year and mandarin / cantonese are completely different, i cant understand a lick of cantonese but i can understand that video so!!!
Yeah, I don't know any cantonese at all, and my limit on mandarin is slippers, complimenting food, and saying yes/no to tea. That is my absolute limit before I'm left staring at Nate whining so he can help me. BUT we have a lot of movies in cantonese and mandarin so I've learned to pick it out by ear that way just based on the sound shifts. :O Not handy at all since I still have no idea what's being said, but I guess kinda helpful in some ways?
that chinese song is mandarin!
Thank you!! Augh, I feel bad but when it comes to a lot of music I can't tell because I can't catch the intonations. ;A; :cries:
