Hey so I'm turning 18 on October 11. Are there any elections I should look out for? I saw the one you posted about the NDP Party which I'll be looking into, but I thought I'd ask about anything else I should look out for. Thanks! :)

For the record I'm in Vancouver, BC.

The NDP leadership election will be this fall.

BC just had an election, so unless the government collapses, there won’t be another election for 4 years. The nearest election besides that one is the Federal Election, which is in 2019. Municipal elections tend to happen around the same time as Provincial elections, so there won’t be one anytime soon either.

I felt so sad when I saw Jack's comment about his nose bc Middle Eastern people are always told to get a nose job for having big noses that are part of our genetics due to it not fitting Eurocentric/North American beauty standards :(

(Cont) and I've been there.....I've had family tell me to get a nose job. But I've gotten proud of it because it's one of the only non-White passing things about me, and it's the same for him. Tl;dr I wish Jack liked his nose more and was more unapologetically Arab and proud of it

I know right!! :(( I hope it was just mostly a joke,even tho he keeps bashing his nose quite often. I hope he learns to accept that his nose is really cute and fits his face just fine. And good, you should always love yourself no matter what others say about your looks, its your body not theirs for gods sake.
