First time in EVER that #cakethecat and #princecharmingthekitten managed to be in close proximity to each other and calm. She’s the tiny one, he’s the chonk who’s no longer a kitten, and #jazzygirlkitty is the Tortie (who is our youngest and a complete brat). Since I’ve been #wfh Cakers has become a little less wild and skittish. And at 2, Prince seems to finally be starting to mature a bit. #BabyZulu used to sleep snuggled up to #Jaspurr. Since he died last May, she's been sleeping by herself and occasionally next to my pillow. She's started moving closer to #princecharmingthekitten lately. But today she finally snuggled up next to him. I've been sitting here with them knitting and taking pics as I got to witness this miraculous change in their relationship. When she first curled up next to him, her tail was curled in a defensive position as if she was expecting him to tell her no. Now, he's taking a bath with a foot on her head up against his tummy.
