Ok long story short Rin left his friends and family behind and didn't contact them for 5 years (except Sousuke) and came back and offended his friends and then had an emotional breakdown which led to a restored friendship.

Just because his grade had fallen behind a tad in literature the previous semester really shouldn't mean he needed to be tutored twice a week for a few hours. Really, it shouldn't.
But, maybe since his tutor was around his age, a little older, maybe his tutor would be able to more easily help him understand the subject. Maybe.
And therefore, waiting in the library was the absolute best course of action, perfectly on time as usual. Just... waiting for his tutor.

In other words, Akama had decided that he was hungry, but he didn't feel like actually paying for the pizza even though he was the one who ordered it. Of course, that wasn't how real life worked, so he would have to anyway... or so he thought.
Opening the door to check if the delivery man was coming, he just so happened to spot someone else instead: one of his roommates. If he had to be over dramatic (which he usually was anyway), Akama would say that this was the happiest he had ever been to see Syo.
With this so-called happiness, he took it upon himself to meet the idol in the hallway half way, but because he was Akama, he couldn't just walk there and stop, naturally. Instead, once he was close enough, he practically pounced on him, expecting the other to catch him while standing and, if he didn't, well, that was totally on Syo, not him!
"Syo-samaaaaaaaaa, guess whaaaaaaaat!"
