Rapunzel stumbled through the woods, muscles burning from a lack of oxygen. Her lungs ached for a full breath. The tree roots reached up, snatching at her ankles, making it hard to stay balanced. The thick braid thumped against her back with each step. They had been so close. The hunters almost got her but she had barely escaped. At the end of the rode, a large castle came in to sight. A sigh of relief spread across her face and she started toward it. But a sound behind her made a chill run through her body. After one glance back, she began to run again not caring how tired her legs were. The hunters were back. And this time they brought dogs. Finally she made it to the castle and pounded on the large gates with her fist. "Please! Please help me!" She cried, hoping someone was listening. She glanced behind her again. The hunters were closer now! princemeridus
