I have so many parties I want to plan (fucking covid) but one I always wanted to do is a grown up princess party.
A lot of my friends have a THING about they weren't considered girl enough---or didn't think they could be girl enough--to have the steortypical pink Princess phase. And I sort of forced myself through it because well, SMART STRONG CAPABLE girls are MUCH MORE than princesses.
So wouldn't it be fun to have a grown up princess party? Everyone dresses in their fluffiest pinkest best, with tiaras MANDATORY , we have sweets and cake and tea, and the table is set with a pink table cloth and roses and everyone can bring their doll or stuffed animal and after tea and cake we can watch Disney movies and play pretty pretty princess and no one has to feel pressure to be the Witch or the Prince or the Bad Guy everyone can just indulge in the fantasy of being pretty and delicate and fancy.
