Behold, another OC to throw at you.
Me and a couple of friends were creating another round of characters, this time set in a fantasy medieval and harem setting so this my little creation, Princess Priya. She comes from a small country that's slowly becoming an economic power but is threatened by two surrounding countries that want to take over. So in a bid to keep their independence and territories safe they have Priya sent to live as a consort to another kingdom (run by my friend) in exchange for their military power.
Priya is an intelligent and empathetic young lady so she knows what's at stake for her country in the grand scheme of things which is why she agrees to this arrangement. So for her intro picture, I have her dressed in an outfit inspired by a wedding lehenga and boy did the detailing took forever! I wanted her to look sweet and demure but also dressed as the most elegant lady as she's being presented to a foreign king, but I wish I did a better job at showing her overall hesitation with the whole situation since she'll be leaving her home behind for an indeterminate amount of time. Sketching and line art took a day each but coloring this took at least five so I'll have to introduce that complexity on another project. I loved drawing her but my hands are so tired.
I know I have so many OCs at this point, it's getting ridiculous, but I've just been obsessed with her design recently so you'll probably see more of her eventually. I apologize in advance.
