someone saw her. bo peep thinks && her nervous soul pangs against her porcelain figure. someone saw her but who ? she curses to herself in silence. she had checked the room multiple times before making a move towards the open glass window. no child was found anywhere near the premise. not a single one.
bo tightens her grip on the staff. she keeps still as if her original state was walking && staring out the window. the shepherdess was so close. so close.
perhaps, she should have been more patient. her hastiness && excitement cost her the very secret of a toy. she hears the shuffling footsteps of the other. is the person inching closer to her ? farther ?
should bo wait longer ... ?
... no, wait. it wouldn’t matter if someone did see her.
i’m leaving this place for good, the shepherdess thinks. this moment isn’t a setback. sure, her new idea might traumatise the person. maybe turn them paranoid with toys. or maybe someone would eventually convince them that what they saw was just a bad dream. it’s not like anyone would miss her and her sheep standing on the base of their lamp.
feeling her courage swell, bo peep tucks her worried thoughts away. her blue eyes && pinkish porcelain face eventually move towards the face who caught her. well. it’s only a matter of seconds before the person screams for help or runs away. whatever the case, bo will take it as a window of opportunity to leave. literally.
