Here’s a bit of a story about this song and video - we have 4 Princesses in the Busy Beaver Universe and we wanted this video to be special. The song is a little bit Celine Dion & a little bit Carly Simon. The video is an ambitious concept about a ride on a magic bus that turns into a spaceship. It’s our tip of the hat to Star Wars and Star Trek and classic 80s sci-fi. A lot of effort went into creating and developing something narrative and original on a YouTuber’s budget. It’s one of our most expensive productions - next to The Orange is Orange 3D and Here Comes my Baby. Honestly since Coppa and YT cut Children’s revenue by 60% last year it’s now impossible for us to make 3D videos of this caliber. As we’ve found with our most creative, ambitious videos - the YT algorithm doesn’t share them as much as say....Wheels on the Bus. Typically the more creative and unique a video is, the poorer it performs in terms of views, even despite a long watch time. Have you ever noticed that a lot of the popular Children’s YouTube Channels seem to make Baby Shark & Finger Family over and over? It’s because they get more views. Admittedly Busy Beavers have made plenty of Finger Family Vids. We had to to play the YT game. We haven’t made a Baby Shark yet - but that doesn’t mean we won’t Haha However - Views, YT Ad revenue & Merch Sales are not our primary motivation for making these songs and videos. It’s the love of being creative, writing songs, making something special that brings children joy and helps parents.
