The Princess of the Royal Navy
This is probably, the longest short fic I've written, I hope you guys like it. This is based, on a character I had created, who is the Little sister of Killian and Liam, in place of Liam II... Enjoy Peeps.
Liam and Killian had some big meeting with the king, as a part of being high ranks in the Royal Navy. I had to join them, since they didn't trust me alone on The Jewel of The Realm... Accidently sent the deck on fire one time, and you're branded for life.
Killian was carrying me as we entered the Palace, i'd fallen asleep during the carriage ride. I nestled into him as we walked inside. I was forced to wear my nicest dress, that was puffy and tight. Killian kissed my forehead before setting me down to the floor. I rubbed my eyes, holding his hand. It was odd, stepping on such clean smooth marble, instead of old wood boards or broken bricks. Two guards escorted us down a long hallway, full of different art peices and statues, that probably cost more than everything i've ever owned combined. I clung to Killian, still feeling sleepy. When we reached our destination, a large room, with a large table in the center, and intricate chairs all around it, the guards left us to ourselves. Liam took the time to set up his maps that he had brought. I hugged Killians leg, resting my head against his hip. He ruffled my hair lovingly. "I'm sleepy..." He chuckled, picking me up. "This is why, we listen when big brother sends you to bed." I grunted at him, resting my head on his shoulder. "The waves gave me a tummy ache..." "The waves, or was it the sweets you think i didn't see you taking from the kitchen?" I pouted. Killian chuckled, rocking me side to side. "Tonight, you go to bed when i say." "Okay..." I yawned.
The big doors we had used to enter, opened again, and in came two women and a man. Killian set me back to the floor, where i returned to clinging to his leg. The man smiled softly at my brothers. "You must be the Jones brothers, that i hear spoken so highly of." Liam and Killian nodded. "Your Majesty." Liam bowed to him, Killian following suit, gesturing me to curtsy. "And who is this?" He smiled at me. I buried my face into Killian's shirt. "This little troublemaker, Is our sister, Aniyah." Killian introduced, rubbing my head affectionately. "Welcome to my home, This is my Wife, Snow, and my daughter, Emma." He gestured in the direction of the two women with him. "Snow, Emma, this is Captain Liam Jones, and Lieutenant Killian Jones." I noticed the younger, hadn't stopped staring at Killian, since she walked in. I looked up at him, he seemed to be equally smitten. I pouted. Liam nodded respectively, walking over to them brushing past Killian, knocking him out of his trance.
Killian smiled wide, taking Emma's hand. "It is a pleasure, Princess." Emma blushed, but smiled back at him. "The pleasure is all mine, Lieutenant." I interrupted. "Hi! I'm Aniyah, I've never met a princess before." She smiled at me, crouching low to the ground to speak to me. "Well, I'm glad to have been your first." After the introductions, Liam and King David got to work, planning battle strategies, among other boring things, when a boy my age, maybe younger came inside. "Mom! I'm bored." Emma giggled, dismissing herself from the table. "Henry, what have i told you about interrupting Grandpa's meetings?" I snuck under the table, curious of the little prince. "To not too..." He pouted, he gave me a glance. "Who are you?" "Who are you?" "I asked you first." "I asked you second." "Aniyah, behave." Liam scolded. I stuck my tongue at him, running out of the room before he could reprimand me any farther. Henry followed, suspecting i was more fun than the adults.... i mean, he wasn't wrong! We ran about the castle, playing with some toy sword he had. "You are really good at this!" He cheered, after i swatted the wooden toy away. "Well, my brother's are in you Grandfather's Navy." I answered, handing it back to him.
"My grandparents are having a ball tonight, would you want to go with me?" He asked, starting to pick up my fighting style. "Ew, that's gross, i don't want to be your date!" I whined, running off, He laughed, chasing after me. "How's this! If i beat you, you have to go with me?" I stuck my tongue out at him. "Whatever! But you aren't going to win!" "We'll see about that!" he stuck me with his sword, and our play fight ensued.
I sat on the floor pouting. "You mean!" He grinned down at me, sword pointed to my face. "It looks like you'll be joining me at the ball tonight!" He cheered, just as the adults walked out of the meeting hall. I felt like crying, and ran to Killian. "Killy! He's being mean!" I whined, burying my face into his shirt. "Henry, what did you do?" Emma scolded. "Nothing, we made a bet, she lost. Now she's whining." I sniffled, while Killian crouched down. "Aniyah, is this true?" I nodded, looking down at the floor. Liam sighed. "Henry, what was the bet?" Emma asked, hands on her hips. "If she lost, she'd have to go to the ball with me!" Liam and Killian both twitched. "Henry, that's not kind of you." Queen snow scolded. Liam stepped toward me, lifting my chin to look at him. "But Aniyah, you made a deal, and you must keep to your word. I sniffled. "But, i don't want to go..." I whimpered. "Than, you should have fought better." Henry quipped, earning a glare from his mother and grandmother. "Aniyah, you were going to go anyway, the ball is being held for us." I pouted, realizing this wasn't going my way. Killian sensed my impending tantrum. "Apologies, Your Majesty, but i'm going to take her outside, to calm down." Killian dragged me out into the garden, just as i had meltdown of Epic proportions.
"Someone, needs a nap." Liam had followed us out, making sure i didn't cause any damage.. i tended to lose control of my magic, when i had these tantrums. "Aniyah Jane, you act right, Now." Killian snapped, after i started yelling incomprehensibly. I sniffled. Liam ruffled my hair. "Calm down, little sister, it is not a big deal, you were going to the ball tonight with us anyway, it will be fine." I buried my face into Killian's shoulder. "But... i don't want him to be my date." Killian rubbed my back. "Lets get you home, and some good rest, all will be well, my Little Minnow."
After a long nap, and a warm bath, Killian helped me get into my gown for the Ball. Since i didn't have many dresses that were nice, Emma had loaned me one, that had been hers as a child. It was lavender, and very soft, with pretty lace of the arms and neck. I felt like a princess. I waited in the carriage while Liam barked his last few orders to the men, before we left. I was dreading the ball, i didn't want to have to dance with Henry, and be his date, but my brothers said i had to keep my word. I stepped out the carriage, feeling nervous, there weren't many other children about, and i realized that might have been why Henry had wanted me here. He smiled as i walked into the room sweeping me into a dance, while Killian and Liam flirted with some of the girls at the party. Killian did the most talking, as always. "I'm glad you could make it, these things get really boring, without anyone my age around." "How old are you?" "I'm ten and you?" "I just turned twelve, in April." he smiled, twirling me around. "You dance really well, for someone who spends all there time out at sea." "Well, my brothers learned to dance, and taught me as well." "Do they teach you everything, they've learned from the Navy?" I nodded. "Mostly, their are a few things, they want to wait until i'm older, so not to overwhelm me." He nodded. "What have you already learned?" "I know how to fight, i was taught to waltz..." I took notice, that Killian was Dancing with Emma, while Liam seemed to sweep a young woman with silver hair, and blue eyes off her feet, I think she was the queen of Arendelle. "I can translate Greek to English, i know French, i can read maps, and use a sextant... the basics." Henry grinned. 'Think you could teach me some of those things?" I shrugged. "I don't see why not." "Great!"
"Henry, care to share a dance with your Grandmother?" King David asked, his wife Snow, offering her hand to henry. He nodded reluctantly, passing my hand to his grandfather. King David swept me away, twirling me gracefully. "You've seemed to get this whole, royal thing, down." He smirked. "Just seem to be important and go from there." He chuckled. "Yeah, your brothers, seem to be moving on some royal ladies themselves." I nodded. "I'm sorry, that Killian seems to be infatuated with your daughter, though, she seems equally as interested." He gave an exasperated sigh. "It seems so, but I don't mind, he's a good man, and I could see no one else fit to take my daughters hand... Now, Liam, seems to have taken a shine to Queen Elsa." "Is that, an issue?" "Well, the Queen... is a bit.. frosty." "Magic?" I asked without thinking. He nodded. "Why are you gossiping with me?" I questioned. "You are an inquisitive child, I thought you would like knowing, who your brother seem to taken interest in." We watched as Liam pressed a kiss to Elsa's hand, causing her to blush darkly. I looked over at Killian, and giggled, he'd been mocking Liam with Emma. I rested my head against David. He was a good bit taller, so I came to just under his chest. "Alright, I think Henry is getting annoyed with me, I better return you." I laughed, I really liked David, I didn't see him as another King in our Kingdom, he seemed like a fairly interesting man.
Henry was eager to get away from his grandmother, leading me further onto the floor, so we were standing side by side with Killian and Emma, who were still poking fun at our eldest brother. "Your brother, is really getting it on with my mom... it's gross." I giggled. "Oh hush, I think its nice, that both my brothers have found someone to be fond of." Especially Liam... Killian often made jokes he had, 'rooted for the other team'... rude as it had been, it was a genuine question we had. "Yeah, but its my mom..." I rolled my eyes, as we watched Killian and Emma. They looked infatuated with each other, It was pure, and made me happy for him. "Want to split them up for a second, and snoop?" I asked quietly. Henry nodded furiously. I giggled, pushing him over and running to my brother. "Killy!" "Hm? Yes, princess?" "I want to dance with you!" I've found, the cuter I appear, the more likely Killian will do what I want. I love manipulation! He glanced nervously at Emma, there hands were tightly intertwined. "You don't mind, do you love?" Emma smiled, shaking her head. "Henry wants my attention as well, it's fine." Henry gave me a wink, before tugging his mother away.
Killian's stance changed, his confidence, that had been dashed, in Emma's presence, quickly returned. "Come 'ere, you!" He scooped me up, and I giggled. He smiled at me wide, rocking e side to side in his arms. "Is dancing with the prince so terrible, you needed to pull me away from Emma?" I pouted. "No, Can't a girl dance with her big brother?" He rolled his eyes, setting me back to the floor, where I stood on his feet to keep up. "You have two of them." He reminded. We both looked at Liam, who had taken Elsa aside. They seemed to be in a very deep conversation. "He seemed busy, I didn't want to interrupt." Killian pursed his lips, annoyed with me. "I was busy as well." "Oh please, you flirt with every woman you set eye's on, Liam solely even speaks to the opposite sex." I pointed out. "True, true..." He looked at Liam, an emotion in his eyes, I couldn't place. "Want to go bother him?" Killian smiled mischievously. "I always do!" He winked, and we made our way over.
Killian clapped Liam on the back, startling both of them from the little bubble they had formed. "Liam! You have a princess, that wishes your attention!" Killian grinned, gesturing to me. Liam's look of fury, quickly softened. "Aniyah, something wrong?" "I want a hug!" Cute, always worked. Liam sighed, scooping me up into a hug, like I asked, Killian winked at me, sneaking off back to Emma. I nestled into Liam, he had no issue holding me. "So, who is this?" Elsa smiled at me softly. "This, is my little sister, Aniyah, I think she's equally as troublesome as your sister Ana, from what you've told me." I pouted. "Mean." He chuckled, kissing my head. Elsa giggled too. "Who are you?" I asked. She curtsied. "I am Queen Elsa, of Arendelle, it's a pleasure to meet you." I looked at her curiously. "Is it true... you have magic?" I asked. Liam pinched my arm, a sign I should shut up. Elsa smiled sadly, holding up her hand, making a little snowflake appear. I gasped, excitedly. "Look what I can do!" I held my hand out to her, trying to will my magic to what I wanted, I frowned, when a rock plopped into my palm, instead of a crystal, like I wanted. "Boo..." Elsa smiled, folding my hand over the pebble. "It takes time, to really control your abilities." I nodded. "Yeah... but I want to make pretty things, like you can." She smiled, glancing up at my brother. "You will someday, I just know it."
Liam still held me, when the night had ended. I was getting sleepy, and Killian had disappeared with Emma... I figured he'd made it to her bedchamber. Liam grumbled, trying to seek our brother out, after Saying goodbye to Elsa and Ana. "Are we really going to go to Arendelle?" I yawned, nestling my face into his neck. "If things, go well, I hope to visit Elsa at her homeland." "She was nice... I hope my magi is as pretty as hers.." I mumbled. "I know it will be, now let's find Killian, and see what trouble he has caused." I nodded. "He's probably of somewhere with Emma..." "Undoubtedly." We found him, with Emma, in one of the halls. "Killian, we have to get Aniyah Home." Liam scolded, approaching cautiously, as they hadn't been doing anything appropriate. Killian flushed red from his neck to his ears. "Right, Aniyah... yeah, lets... go home..." He rambled on, avoiding Emma's eyes. "Say your goodbyes, and lets get on, we have places to be, Brother." "Got It, go away." He shooed us off and turned back to Emma. "Sleepy.." I whined. "I know, My little Minnow, hopefully, Killian is quick." Liam rubbed my back, kissing my head. Killian approached, a smile wide on his face. "Let's get to the Jewel, Shall we?"
We got back to the Ship, Liam stayed above deck to make sure the men kept to their word, While Killian put me to bed. "I'll return this to Emma, tomorrow." He promised, helping me out of the gown. I yawned, throwing on my sleeping gown. "Okay... I don't care." I climbed up into the bed He and I shared. Killian kicked off his shoes, laying in the bed beside me. I nestled into him as he tugged the blanket over me. "Did you have fun tonight?" I nodded, resting my head on his chest. "Yeah.. I like going to balls." I yawned. "Good, I hope we can take you to some more." He rubbed my back, speaking softly. "I like going place with you guys, i'm glad Papa let me go..." I muttered sleepily. "I'm glad as well, i'm happy to get to know you in this way, now get some rest, we have a long day of sailing tomorrow, Princess." "Okay... Night Killian..." I whispered, my eyelids drooping. "Night, darling." He tucked me in, kissing my forehead. I was asleep within minutes, snoozing peacefully, and dreaming happily.
