Because I've heard a lot of opposing inflation, who is running for PM? Is it only Trudeau and Scheer?
Well technically nobody is ‘running for PM’ because Prime Ministers aren’t elected by the public directly. They’re elected by how well their parties do after the election.
But all party leaders capable of electing MP’s could theoretically become PM if they do well in the election:
Justin Trudeau (Liberals)
Jagmeet Singh (NDP)
Andrew Scheer (Conservatives)
Elizabeth May (Green Party)
Maxime Bernier (People’s Party)
Yves-François Blanchet (Bloc Quebecois)
