Deceived ll Kaden&Tyla
Rain poured down onto the California streets, drops pattered down into large puddles, the ripples nearly making them oceanic in view as Kaden trudged down the sidewalk. It was a miserable day, but having just arrived--and finally finding a house to stay in comfortably, he didn't have the luxury of a car or any real roots to be comfortable in, at least not yet. Not until this cure was used to his advantage. Thunder clapped overhead as the rain grew more powerful, coming down in blankets now prompting the vampire to duck quickly into the nearest coffee shop. It was the perfect little nook, private where he could easily go unnoticed and had multiple routes for escape. Removing his coat, he found a seat in the far back corner out of view from any window or door, though he could keep a close ear as well and quickly ordered a cup of coffee to blend in. Time had passed, though Kaden hadn't intended on staying for long, and had just been planning on leaving when the hair on the back of his neck stood. The sensation was familiar--too familiar and dangerously noticeable. Shooting up to his feet, the vampire peered around the corner to see a familiar face. Tyla Lockwood, from what he had heard (thanks to all of his useful sources in Mystic Falls) she was on the run from Klaus. "Well, I didn't expect to see you still alive." Kaden spoke softly, leaning against the wall. "You didn't let Klaus follow you here did you?"
