Aurora looked out over the proceeding ball in the castle. The smiling faces of her guests brought a smile to her face too. Turning around she found herself face to face with someone she didn't know.

"Oh, hello." she said, shyly tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.

Maybe this time it would work.

The frost spirit smiled to himself as he landed on the sandy beach, looking out over the Ocean with a determined grin. He'd been gaining so much belief lately that his powers had more than tripled.

Southern places were getting snow, others blizzards. He knew that most adults felt that he had well overstayed his welcome but the children loved it, so he planned to hold out for as long as he could (Or at least until Spring or Mother nature came to stop him). But this was something different for him, a goal more than a duty. Maybe this time.....

He started with a cautious step forward, just far enough that he came in contact with the spray of the waves, the water freezing into little particles that floated around him. Encouraging. 

Feeling a boost of confidence he continued forward, finally placing his foot upon the salty water itself, causing it to freeze under his feet as he went on a bit more carefully, looking back every little while though feeling the undeniable excitement as his ice remained even with the water being filled to the brim with salt. He really had gotten so much stronger!

He got out a couple meters before he heard it, the cracking. Looking back with a feeling of exasperation he could see his little bridge breaking apart before his eyes and he knew that he had reached his limit, at least for now. 

Oh well. 

He jumped up into the wind's loving grasp and watched the demolition of the rest of his efforts, the frozen water sinking beneath the waves once again and becoming liquid. 

Maybe next time.

He was so caught up in his viewing that he was completely oblivious that he might have an audience himself.

Alanna was walking casually through the marketplace, trying to find a vendor's booth that looked like it would be an easy mark to find her breakfast for the day when she saw a sight that wasn't common for Agrabah at all: a young woman with pale skin and fiery red hair wearing clothes that no woman in Agrabah would wear. "Hm..." Maybe she'd watch the woman for a little while before deciding whether to approach her or not.
