Biography:
Princinnati is the hottest new rap sensation hailing from Ohio. He was born Alvin Vincent Triggs II on
February 28, 1988 to Tori and Alvin Triggs Sr. He lived on the Pease Air Force Base in Portsmouth, NH as
a young child, where his father served in the United States Air Force for four years. In 1990, Princinnati’s
father was relocated to the Scott Air force Base in East St. Louis where they lived for five years. In
1995, the entertainer’s family moved to Cincinnati after his father was honorably discharged from the
air force. Here, Princinnati got his first glance at the entertainment industry by watching his mother
transform into a soulful songstress to compete in local talent shows while growing up.
Once he entered high school, Princinnati’s love for the spotlight and for music flourished; he played
varsity basketball and football, performed in several school talent shows, and also sang and danced in
the men’s choir in high school. Princinnati was enjoying his childhood and realizing his aspirations of
becoming an entertainer when his family life took a drastic turn for the worst; his father succumbed to
alcoholism and left his family to fend for themselves. Immediately following the separation, Princinnati’s
mother moved the family to Indianapolis, IN to pick up the pieces of his family. The young rapper
remained in Cincinnati to focus on his music career, but immediately experienced another tragic event
when the murder of his close cousin Charles “Chaz” Mcray occurred in 2007. Greif stricken and alone,
Princinnati channeled the death and devastation of the recent events into his music. Princinnati began
his career as an entertainer in 2006 when he recorded several freestyles and his first original song
entitled “The Blues.” He continued pursuing his aspirations as an artist by regularly performing at
several popular venues, open-mic nights, and talent shows.
Princinnati built up a buzz in the city of Cincinnati quickly by releasing a series of well-received singles
and collaborations, including the hit “Fresh To Death” in February 2008, "Brown Skin" in April 2009,
the club banger “Eatin’ Ain’t Cheatin’" in October 2009, and the newest smash “Pumps & Skinnys” in
February 2011. Since then his list of accomplishments has become endless; Princinnati is a regularly
featured performer at Cincinnati’s annual Midwest Regional Black Family Reunion, he’s opened for
several heavy hitters like rapper Rick Ross and R&B singer Bobby Valentino, and has also launched his
own record label 2nd To None Music Group (2MG). In addition, Princinnati has recently won first place
in the 2009 Russ Bus Tour in Louisville, KY after amassing over 5,000 votes from fans in just one week.
He’s also been heard regularly on radio airwaves after recording the introduction song used by radio
personality N.O.C. for his nightly show on Cincinnati's 101.1 FM The Wiz.
Recently, Princinnati is avidly working on several music projects for his record label, including his greatly
anticipated follow up to his first mix tape entitled "Royalty Volume One" which was released July 8 th
2010. The release of his new single “I’m On That” has started to receive national attention with the
track being produced by Tone Beats aka The Beat Bully(Rick Ross-Stay Schemin, Meek Mill-House Party).
“Welcome To Princinnati” will build on the momentum gained upon its release October 11, 2012. Also,
capitalizing on his women’s demographic of fanfare, he will release the “Ladies Night” Mixtape soon
after.
