“Please forgive my boldness, but you can predict the future?”

Even though the gem found herself in Terra several months ago, she had still felt a disconnect between herself and the other newcomers. Cornflower figured they were simply fearful of initiating conversation, but that meant she was mostly on her own to find her way around here. Was it a surprise that when meeting someone who she could possibly relate to, she wouldn’t waste any time before introducing herself?

After a few moments of letting the question hang in the air, she continued. “I-It’s just, I thought I was the only one who could...”

“(I don’t recall this being apart of the city’s secrets...Though, I suppose those wizards had their own way of doing things...)”  Moonlight had not recalled waking up, but something powerful enough drew her from her slumber to this particular city.  She was musing to herself, and in her sleepy haze, had brushed past a teenage girl with just her hoop skirt.  Perhaps it was time for a costume change? The wizard would have to come up with something a bit more space-saving, huh?

“Pardon me...I just woke up from my nap...I believe I’m about due for another one...”  She hadn’t even been up for twenty minutes, but alright.

The festival games are only somewhat familiar to her. Miriam is able to make sense of some of them, given what she remembers as a small child. Others are reminiscent of the odd little games that the members of the compound would present to her when trying to be entertaining. So, standing in the middle of it all, alone and unsure, kind of sucks. So, Miriam goes for what feels better, and sidles up next to someone who looks about as familiar as she does.

“So, do you know the tricks to any of this carnival games?”
