Pixton is an online comic making tool used by millions that empowers anyone to create unique, expressive comics without having to draw.
Pixton is a website where students can create their own comics through templates to portray a story or information. Students can also select to ‘remix’ comics, where they can add onto other comics and teachers are able to moderate it before it is approved. Once approved it is open to the class for other students to comment . Rubrics are also added to the bottom of the rubric so students can align their work with the expectations and peer review is possible.
Honey Ant Readers was created in the Northern Territory to improve literacy levels in remote communities through developing resources indigenous learners can relate to and learn from. Note: As this has been developed with Elders in NT, these resources are not appropriate to provide to other areas of Australia as each tribe has is its own unique and beautiful stories to share.
An amazing resource for teachers to use in the classroom to educate students on the elements of storytelling through videos, example slowmations, animation skills and useful software to use.
We have invented a solution that brings fun and education together. By taking elements from gaming, we motivate students to read stories, and work on their writing skills.
Fabelene is an online websites where users can start and finish other peoples stories. Students will be able to create alternative story lines, alternative endings and with more involvement with the website, students experience new benefits on the website.
Teachers can also assign readings accustomed to each students level and students are able to respond online at their own pace.

Lit Genius is a community of scholars—and a crew of heroic hearts—devoted to annotating great literature. We host everything from the classics to recent fiction to spoken word.
Litgenius is a website which allows teachers to annotate texts in public or privately as a class. Students are able to add images, videos and texts to the annotations and discuss these annotations with their peers.
The Digital Divide Network helps serve an online community of policy makers, researchers and citizens interested in sharing knowledge to help break the digital divide. On this website, by signing up you can access thousands of reports, surveys, books and academic papers written on the digital divide.
