FASHION FRONT COVER FINAL
Overall, fashion cover was the shoot I was most excited to do and put together. i had organised the perfect model and a make-up artist as well as help from my dad to bring in my props. I faced a lot of challenges with this shoot, ie with my wallpaper background and the reflection of the mirror. However, in the end, with help from a lecturer and friends I ended up with more than enough final images over a day of shooting and I struggled to choose just one final.

FASHION FRONT COVER PREP
To begin preparation for my shoot which is in four days, I took a trip to a wallpaper shop in the Barras area and had a look at possible backdrop options. In the scene of the movie which I am trying to replicate, the room is very white and brightly lit so I am thinking the above top row wallpaper on the far right would be a good choice for my background. I also am going to go back to the shop to purchase my backdrop as well as now possibly using a different set of wallpaper to use as the floor for my shot to make the room look more realistic.
GROUP PORTRAIT - RESUBMISSION
This is my resubmission for Group Portrait. My feedback noted that my last image didn't meet the brief as it looked like more of a documentary image than an engaged portrait. So after looking through my images from the event, I came across this group portrait above which I think meets the brief a bit more closely.
GROUP PORTRAIT - FINAL
For this project, I used the 90th birthday party of my neighbours mum. She wanted a shot of her mother with the last of her siblings as she is one of ten. I used my on camera flash for this shot as the lighting in the venue was already quite strong. My biggest struggle was having all the sitters looking at me as one lady had late stage Alzheimer’s and was struggling to focus and stand long, however I am quite happy with the kind of candid shot I got. When editing my image, it took me a while to decide if I preferred it in colour or black and white. However, after getting some opinions from others I decided to go with black and white. To do this I used camera raw on bridge and converted the profile to monochrome. I adjusted the whites on the image to help the white hair of the women all stand out as it all kind of matched. To finish my edit, I cropped my image closer as there was a lot of unnecessary space and then I resized my image for print.

This is my contact sheet for the shot I wanted to get for my group portrait brief. As shown above, I never got many shots here as the ladies were obviously unable to stand there for so long. Although I was prepared to get my shot, my biggest task was getting all 4 women to look at the camera. However, I think I do have a final shot that I am quite happy with that looks quite candid but posed for the brief.
