If you are interested in Latin alternative music public relations, live in CA & are looking for a foot in the Latin music industry - this is for you.
I work with The Music Joint where we work with acts such as Panteon Rococo, Leon Larregui, Javiera Mena, Mexican Dubwiser, Kinky, Siddhartha, etc. It’s a wide range within the Latin alternative spectrum & we do their press. So it has to do a lot with organizing & researching excel sheets as well as making contacts & connecting the artists with the reporters. Of course we work in their events, festivals & we manage their LA press agendas. Anything between college radios to national TV.
It’s a great opportunity for young students/recent graduates that are interested in moving up within this genre & this industry. I’ve been working here for 2 years & I’ve learned a lot working with my favorite musicians. Of course I’m looking for people that are super driven, on time, organized & determined in this industry.

As of now we are looking for a part-time intern that can come 2-3 days a week at our Burbank office, but trust when I say we are moving up & the amount of work you put in will definitely be worth it. It can become a part-time gig to a full time job like it did to me!
