The (not so) money-saving idea

So you're thinking that it'd be a good idea, to keep the price down on a job, to print a promotional leaflet in-house on your colour copier/printer?

Not a bad idea you're thinking... saving money is always a good idea, especially during a recession. Well, it may just be worth giving it some extra thought.

Have you thought about how much your ink cartridges cost (we know they're not cheap!)? Then add to that the cost per copy that you are charged by your copier/printer supplier, plus electricity usage and paper costs... and you've probably spent more than you would have by using a commercial printer in the first place. And that's before we add in the cost of your time...

And to top it all off, you also need to give serious thought to the quality of print that you will get from your in-house machine. Is that the impression you want to give of your company? 

We're all for helping our customers save money, but not at the expense of quality, brand reputation or wasted time!

GKD’s ‘early warning system’

The saying ‘forewarned is forearmed’ is something of a mantra that needs to be shouted from our rooftop.

In the interest of getting the next urgent job produced on time why not contact us earlier, ‘keep us in the loop’ (I hate that saying!). Letting us know a particular job should be coming our way in the next few days can take the stresses and strains out of your day.

Work can be pencilled in days before artwork is due to reach us. By being given quote reference, when to expect artwork and delivery dates and destinations we can line work up accordingly.

If things don’t happen when they should jobs can be moved along in production. It does get a bit like a game of chess sometimes, but by involving us earlier everyone wins.

Remember, when we quote for your work the price isn’t just about ink on paper, it’s about what happens before and after the job is completed. Call it GKD’s ‘early warning system’.
