What is your (first) name and how old are you? (If you’re a part of a small team, briefly state how many of you there are and your ages) I’m Lucie, I’m 17, and am on a team with Bethan (17), Zoe (17), Toni (22), and Caity (19)
How many years have you/your teammates participated in GISHWHES? Most of us have participated since 2012.
What level of priority do you/your team assign GISHWHES? Examples include: Work and School come first; I take off of work to participate; I do what I can in my free time, but I dedicate my entire free time to the scavenger hunt. We use up the majority of our free time to do the hunt, it’s a massive priority for us.
What is your intended outcome of GISHWHES? Examples include: To bring awareness to a cause, to have a good experience, to win. We love meeting new people from across the globe, but of course we’d like to win!
Do you/your team have any specific skills/trades that might be especially useful to the hunt (please provide no more then five)? Examples include: Artist, Singer, Musician, Writer, Actor/Actress, access to exotic animals, Robert Downey Jr is my uncle. We have an artist, I’m a writer, an actress (skill, rather than famous), and most of us have domestic pets.
In a team, which do you prefer: 1) stability and leadership through an elected team captain 2) A team, likely with a team captain, in which all group members are engaged in the decision making process 3) Or, a team in which each member is equally responsible for every aspect of the hunt. No leader, laissez faire. 3, absolutely. We would say we have a group ‘mammy’ and 'father’, though. The mammy makes sure everyone’s okay and not stressed and generally organises, whereas the 'father’ is more like the family planner.
Do you view familiarity with teammates a necessary aspect to a successful hunt? Absolutely! A good team has to know each other to operate effectively.
Do you regularly take control of projects in which you are assigned a team (are you a natural leader)? I, personally, am a natural leader and have been described as a control freak. However Gishwhes is always a good chance to let go of all that.
Are you easily disappointed and/or angered by imperfections? Usually, yes, but during Gishwhes it’s the imperfections that make the game perfect.
Which mode of contact do you prefer if/when a team/member specifically suits your needs or is interested in meeting you? We have a Facebook group. This is the easiest way to communicate, we find.
Where are you located (Country/continent is fine; state if you’re in the USA) I’m from Wales, Bethan is from England, Toni is from Scotland, and Caity is from Canada.

Do you drive/have a reliable mode of transportation? - We all live within walking distance of major towns and/or cities. Bethan also is a frequent user of the tube. What level of priority do you/your team assign GISHWHES? School/work/health will come first of course, but we want to dedicate all possible free time to the hunt
What is your intended outcome of GISHWHES? Not many people seem to know about it in my country so it would definitely be great to bring more awareness to it, as well as just having a lot of fun and meeting new people!
Do you/your team have any specific skills/trades that might be especially useful to the hunt (please provide no more then five)? Can play piano/guitar/sing, multilingual, some photoshop/video editing experience + my brother studies digital design, another member is good at crafts and baking.

What is your (first) name and how old are you? Hi, names Andrea and i’m 23 years old. I started a team with my friend Natalia, same age, and are looking to find a few key members spread around the world.
How many years have you/your teammates participated in GISHWHES? This will be our first year but we are hard workers and striving to complete as many items as possible :D
What level of priority do you/your team assign GISHWHES? I will have the whole week to dedicate to the hunt and while Natalia does work part time she is willing to lose sleep.
What is your intended outcome of GISHWHES? To do things outside my comfort zone, be more active, support my team, have fun and complete as many items as we can. Devide and conquer.

Skype all the way because you can have it on your phone and you can send pics and stuff without having to upload them to a social media.
