hi, would the archivists adopt a cat?

probably not, most of them dont really see the point in adopting animals ("why not collect them?")

Preserver on the other hand, doesnt collect creatures (they collect objects/planets and disturbing stuff). so they dont have much knowledge on what some creatures names are:]

add: actually, they only cared to remember the ones that interest them (humans or birds for example). they CAN warm up to cats if they stay with one for long. but in the end, that cat would end up in the archive if they likes it.
