TODAY STARTED OFF SO BAD AND THEN

I spent the day working and enjoying it + being heard and affirmed by a pal over lunch + meeting w pals/coworkers for a joyous hour + enjoying an affirming/reflective brief chat w another pal + being heard and affirmed by yet another pal over dinner + textin w a pal a bit abt desires//aspirations to be suave and english + being cozy in my old stompin ground RONJ + hearing poetry by some great pal poets + catching up w another pal ((which included lots of excitement and affirmation)) + chatting and smoking and being heard and affirmed w yet ANOTHER pal + driving home in dark dark maine to good music w a silly grin + arriving home to host parents w easy small talk and general wellness

WOW I AM SO LUCKY YOU FUCKERS ARE HELPING ME WAY MORE THAN YOU MIGHT REALIZE MY BIGGEST THANK YOUS TO EVERYONE

is anyone else skeeved out by the fact that bates kids will rally and take action and write petitions and letters and stir the pot abt

- trick or drink - drinking policies

but it's hard as hell to get kids up in arms abt...uh...anything w more social gravity beyond campus? not that i have a flavor of campus politics rn bc i don't attend anymore, but historically this makes sense and still seems at the v least 'odd,' which seems too vacuous a word for how i feel. it just seems crazy that this is some of the most active/activist i've seen some people on campus and it just feels 

sad.

dude I live in New York and I have not seen nearly that many famous people. where do you hang out and can I come???

I go to a lot of events! World Science Festival is a great time because I can see lots of noteworthy scientists.  Whenever people go on tour, they go to NYC so it's wonderful.  (Also having connections is good.)
