The blackphone is a new Android smartphone built by an international team to specifically protect the users privacy.
It is scheduled to be released in February 2014.
Jon Callas, it’s Co-Founder, described it in the following video as being ” … configured, set-up, modified so that the privacy aspect of it are all melded together…”

In our day and age, it is no secret that technology is used to monitor people’s behaviors without their consent or even their knowledge.
Privacy is no more, but the blackphone might be the first device of its kind built for the “whole purpose” of shielding the users privacy.
