Lauren: it's 8 am, Aspen. Your makeup will look fine without blaring your music -___-
Lauren: I wonder if filing a noise complaint would do the trick?

F2F || ASPELAIDE
Adelaide shifts in the front seat of her car, looking out of the window to Aspen’s place. It had been awhile. Far too long, if she were honest. Their connection went beyond having dated. Their connection went beyond just spending a couple of years together. There were pieces of Addy that no one had ever seen except Aspen. The pieces where Adelaide had fallen completely apart and was a total sweetheart that flipped a switch into a cold human at the drop of a hat. Aspen saw that transition. Aspen knew Addy more than anyone else on this earth and maybe that’s why the universe kept leading her there.
Grabbing the orange juice from her front seat, the blonde, clad in ked, joggers, and a slightly too revealing vneck, headed to the front door. The breeze on her skin as she walked felt just as Adelaide did in the recent days, cold and alone. Shaking her thoughts away as she opened the door to Aspen’s abode, the girl yelled.
“Aspen, I swear to God if you already have orange juice, I’m going to murder you,” her voice was loud, laced with annoyance.

Cassie: Yo, asshole. Are you still being a sensitive idiot or do you feel like going to get lunch?

ADELAIDE: True or false?
ADELAIDE: I look better in sequins than 90% of these bitches on the Golden Globes.
PHONE | ASPELAIDE
[Adelaide picks up her phone, her body somewhat bouncing from the amount of anxiety riddling through it. She paces up and down the hallway, staring at the name on her screen. There was something she needed to say. Something that Aspen needed to know and she couldn’t do it in person. She hits call and when it filters to voicemail, she thanks whatever controls the universe.]
Hi Aspen... I know that this week has been kind of crazy. [She pauses, attempting to gather her thoughts.] Do you think that kismet is a thing? Like... when we met all of those years ago, do you think that was fate? I don’t know. I want to talk to you... and I want to say this in person, but I think saying it here first is way easier than. [A noticeable pause, some sniffling comes from Addy as she’s crying. She tries to pull herself together.] You are so selfless and so strong. I think that there are so many people in this world who would be lucky to have you in their life and I know I don’t say it often, but I really appreciate you and... I just wanted you to know... I love you, too. [She sighs, pulling the phone from her ear and presses end.]
