So I just rewatched BBC's Privates on DVD, which I bought recently.

I'd noticed that they'd changed the song for the intro and outro, which I wasn't pleased about considering I love The Animals. But I dealt with that.

It was during the last episode, after Lomax's... I don't even know what to call it. After the explosion, it cut to Corporal Barrowman, music started playing and I lost my shit.

Because it wasn't Paint It Black.

That song was perfect for that final scene! Perfect!

Why the bloody hell did they change it?! I don't understand!!

Privates episode 2.  Ross Anderson as Private Lomax, did such a great job with such a crazy character.

Top five scenes in Privates?

Oooh, excellent question. (*sobs* Why did tumblr eat my answer?) Trying again.

1. The chase scene between Keenan and Hobbs

2. Rothman and Davies practicing Rothman's presentation for candidacy.

3. Keenan and Nurse Charles talking about Alice.

4. Lomax quoting something about girdles at the obstacle course.

5. All the lads running into the water.

So many favorite scenes though. I also loved all the scenes with Davies' granda's medal.
